I have been a long time faithful customer of Parma Pizza at this location. In fact, I was actually using a gift card I earned from their rewards system at our last visit. The reason for the one star - in the past whenever I’ve called in an order even remotely close to closing time (ie 30+ minutes prior to closing), they act audibly annoyed over the phone and have told me that their closing time might technically be a certain time but they often close a half hour earlier. The last time, I called more than a half hour prior to closing. They, as often has been the case, didn’t have the ingredients to make the pizza I requested and I happily accepted an alternative. They again seemed annoyed about my order. I was then told it would be ready in about half the time it normally would take. I got there when I was told and talked with the workers a bit and was handed my order 15 minutes before closing time. When I got home I learned my food was completely uncooked and raw, and was not finished the way it normally is with salt on the pretzel crust, nor was the pepperoni pizza sliced. The crust was literally wet raw dough that wasn’t even half baked in places. It was very sloppy and a total disregard of my time and money. I called back and left a message regarding my concerns, with the hope they would make it right and never heard back. They never did, and I was open to giving them that opportunity before posting a negative review. Finally, I’d add that as a physician, I also have some serious concerns about the sanitation standards of this location and things I and family members have observed here over the years. The pizza is amazing (when fully cooked and not given with attitude) but for these reasons, Parma has lost a faithful customer and I’d recommend others consider the same - plenty of good pizza places in the area without these problems. Edit 3/12/2024: If you would like to see what a non-apology looks like, please see below 👇. Sometimes the best thing to do is to simply apologize and not make excuses or try to diminish valid concerns. I live within walking distance of this location and have gone here for years. Every aspect of my prior experience is 100% accurate without exaggeration. I cannot say if someone had a bad day or a worker did something outside of standard practice or policy, but this happened and what I was told and what I shared is absolutely true. I left a voice message at this location - maybe it was missed your team, but I did. You also could have reached out to me directly instead of passive aggressively responding here. I work in a significant leadership role and deal with complaints all the time. My responses to them never end with trying to vilify the person complaining or tell them their concern doesn’t make any sense.

3 stars for you. Decent food, convenient location and people are nice enough. They gave us free garlic knots when I was there. I’m gotten their pizza before, recently was the first time I branched out to try their pasta and I absolutely loved it! 5 stars regarding portions. 4 stars for taste…I’m not a picky eater, and pizza is pizza to me; it doesn’t take much to make me happy, but 3 stars for service. The lady server there is super sweet, but I was upset when I ended up paying for way more than I was expecting due to lack of and misleading communication… none the less I still left with a happy tummy.

We just had yet another issue with Parma tonight...they have gone down hill the past couple of months but unfortunately its one of the only places that deliver to our work so we keep giving them a try. Well today our food showed up covered in Italian dressing and marinara sauce. There was a grilled chicken salad, loaded fries, mozzarella fries and cheese sticks all in one bag. Im guessing either from tying the bag or it being smashed, the sauces were all broken open and leaked. The bottom of the bag dripped dressing all over the counter. I said something to the delivery guy and he literally ran out of here and floored it out of the parking lot...so that kinda led us to believe he was driving like an idiot or smashed the bag himself. Anyway I called Parma to let them know what happened. They offered to remake the food but said we had to return every bit of in order to get it replaced. Well we have 6 hungry people here, some of them kids, that had already started eating what could be salvaged so was told, sorry they couldn't help us. This is absolutely piss poor and no excuse for it what so ever..but hey if thats how you want to handle things, I guess we as customers know how...

March 2019 Restaurant Inspection: Parma Pizza and Grill, 301 Main St., Landisville, March 18. A residue buildup in both hand-wash sinks. Meatballs and hot dogs, a refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time/temperature-control-for-safety food in the sandwich unit cooler and the walk-in cooler, were datemarked by the facility but were beyond the seven-day use- or sell-by date and require discarding. The Formica coating of the table near the hand-wash sink in the front area is broken off and has exposed raw wood. A strip of raw wood, which is not cleanable, is being used as an edger above the hand-wash sink in the front service area. Wall beneath hand-wash sink in the front service area has a hole and is broken and in need of repair. Ceiling tiles missing above the pizza-making unit, and needs to be replaced. Hobart mixer bearing or gear box is dripping lubricant on the food-contact surface (mixing bowl). Peeling paint on the wall around the hand-wash sink in the front...
