Generally speaking, it's a new place, so service and food quality obviously can improve as they get their bearings cross my fingers because this is the most convenient place for me and my father to eat at. So I hope that all comes around. As far as the atmosphere, frankly, I think the inside atmosphere has been lost from the original building layout. The interiors just kind of, in my humble opinion, are tight, stuffy rows of Booth old restaurant style. Now, the exterior interior windows garage style exterior walls sports bar porch setting. It's very comfortable. So if you want more of an open atmosphere, I'll be taking all my meals out on the porch, and hopefully, the service in quality of food getting put out of the kitchen comes together. Or I won't be eating there ever again as I was already mostly done with this place when it was under the other ownership. The only thing that brought me back was the atmosphere. Now, half of that's been ruined on the interior as far as I'm concerned. But just out of convenience and overall pleasure, I find in the atmosphere of the outer interior porch setting that will keep bringing me back for now. I'll tell you what I don't like about this place is moving away from sports bar pricing to high-end Restaurant pricing I paid well over $40 plus the tip making a $50 plus table for a ginger ale a salad and a Burger if I remember right it was $42 and change it might have been $44 but that's for a freaking salad a drink non-alcohol drink in a burger I just went down to Philly Steakhouse who does a great burgers and I grabbed myself a soup a ginger ale and burger and fries for like 24 bucks and everything they do down there is fresh and good obviously not quite the sports bar atmosphere you have over there at 1 North it's a lot more roomy a lot more bigger place but that's the only drawback comparably speaking to sitting down and enjoying a similar meal for half the price
I've just been back a couple times from my original writing above and had a chance to take in more of the interior of the restaurant as I described the booth seating area that still holds the same feelings for me and prices on a period of changed. The place is kind of pricey for what it is. but what I have noticed is they've got entirely to decent size rooms on either side of the center dining area one quite a bit larger than the other. Both are more open table settings and big windows to the outside. the overall service, I believe, has improved. Again, you know new opening, everyone getting their bearings. I like the place. I'm just not a guy who cares for the interior booth old school Atmosphere Restaurant seating. They are definitely getting better if I remember correctly, though I want to make one suggestion to get rid of the pretzel bread bun unless it's a real big seller for you? I don't know how. It's just such a thick absorbing type of bread. I think it kills the nice burger taste in having those quality patties. Lose the pretzel bun and keep telling your staff to maintain your conscientiousness and attentiveness to the customer. They got a big hurdle to overcome from the way the Pryor staff of the prior establishment was managed they had no attentiveness for the customer. They were about as conscientious as a dead horse. So, as I understand it, this is new ownership but one of the same past managers? So, as of right now, I'm giving this place a thumbs up management wise compared to the way it was managed under the other ownership because the service sucked something terrible back then.. I would say in a way this is three restaurants in one as far as atmosphere goes you got the old school Booth setting Center building then you got two different Wings off the center there are more open dining comfortable wood tables and chairs with lots of Windows to the exterior but at the very front of the building that's that beautiful outdoor feeling but interior wide open Sports Bar perfect for anybody...
Read moreI had been to this establishment over fifty times when it was under different ownership and called "Renos East". To say my first visit to One North at lunchtime on Saturday, April 12, 2025 was a "night and day" difference from Renos East, is an understatement.
The food was super, timely, and well priced. Slightly higher than it had been before, but an entirely new menu and well worth it. Still very reasonably priced in my opinion.
The restaurant was redesigned and remodeled. Great layout. AND, it was CLEAN. Moreover, the staff was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. This unfortunately was always an issue under the prior management.
In particular, our server (Kaitlyn R) was amazing. Kaitlyn was friendly, made sure our waters and beverages stayed full, promptly cleared away dishes, made great recommendations off the menu, and never made us feel rushed (even though we lingered a bit after finishing the meal).
Our table of three (one man and two women) all agreed that Kaitlyn was one of the best servers we have had - ANYWHERE. Even if the food had been average, we would still return due to the effort of our server. The fact that the food was also very good, solidifies One North as our new favorite restaurant for both social and business get togethers.
Excellent food, clean, reasonable pricing, ample parking, fabulous service - One North will not disappoint.
Kudos to the owners, cooks, management, and especially Kaitlyn R. for an extraordinary...
Read moreWe were really excited to try One North, but unfortunately, it ended up being a huge disappointment—not once, but twice. The first time we went, it wasn’t even busy, yet they decided to seat us right next to the only other table in the patio area, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. We asked to move, and they relocated us to a booth next to the host stand—not ideal, but slightly better. The entire time, though, there were a bunch of employees talking loudly nearby, which made it hard to enjoy the experience.
As for the food, it was underwhelming at best. I ordered the BBQ salad, and the chicken was dry, not even warm, and barely had any toppings to go with it. My friend ordered a beer, and we later found out the server didn’t even mention it was happy hour, which could’ve saved us some money.
We decided to give One North another chance, hoping it was just an off night, but the second visit was somehow worse. My friend ordered the honey mustard chicken sandwich, and what we initially thought was brine just turned out to be chicken that tasted rotten. The fries that came with it were hollow and overcooked. The only redeeming part of either visit was the mozzarella sticks,...
