This is a well managed store. The crewmembers are empowered to prioritize customer service.
The employees enjoy working together. When traffic is low, they joke with each other, talk, clean, replenish, and maintain the dining room, equipment, and food prep areas. As soon as traffic picks up again, they are instantly on station providing quick and wlexcellent service.
I work as a clinical chaplain for a hospice provider. I sometimes have to spend time here working or preparing to work. This is how I have been able to observe for extended amounts of time.
What I do not like is that their corn muffins are not on the application menu, so I have to stand on line when I come in to pick up my order. This is across the board in every Dunkin' I have visited. They are always available, sometimes on display, but unavailable on the app. Also, in this, my favorite location, a recent remodel has resulted in only 10 seats.

Five-Star Leadership at Dunkin’ #300204 – A Flagship in East Orange, NJ
Sean, the manager at Dunkin’ #300204 (140 Central Avenue, East Orange), exemplifies what it means to lead with ownership, vision, and brand stewardship. He’s not just the “body in charge”—he operates like a corporate-level strategist, ensuring every facet of the customer experience is intentional, expressive, and legacy-worthy.
From the moment you approach the store, Sean’s influence is palpable. He understands that success is holistic: the visual appeal of the property, the flow of foot and vehicle traffic, the emotional tone customers feel upon entry, and the satisfaction they carry out with them. Every detail is curated.
Sean is a player-coach in the truest sense. During rushes, he’s not behind the scenes—he’s on the floor, moving station to station, facilitating operations with grace and precision. Corrections are quiet, redemptive, and empowering. He leads without enabling, and his team reflects that ethos.
His hiring and development instincts are uncanny. Whether he’s identifying stars, nurturing raw talent, or cultivating blank slates, the result is the same: a team that’s customer-focused, poised, and driven to deliver excellence. Anyone trained under Sean will carry leadership DNA wherever they go.
Dunkin’ #300204 isn’t just a store—it’s a flagship. And Sean isn’t just a manager—he’s a brand ambassador, a legacy steward, and a credit to Dunkin’ corporate. This location deserves to be studied, celebrated, and emulated across...
Read moreSo I just left from this location. Today’s service was awkward. The young girl working the register with the brown box braids in her hair was rude and annoyed the least to say. As she was taking my order you can tell she was annoyed, the rolling of her eyes while taking my order. Her demeanor was so unnecessary especially her facial expressions. I used Apple Pay to checkout, accidentally walked away too fast I guess before the transaction was approved. The way she called me back over to the counter, I LITERALLY felt like addressing her. But I didn’t. Btw the iced coffee was horrible for the first time at this location. Coffee tasted burnt. That’s what made the whole experience worse. Other than that the renovations at this location look AMAZING! The good thing is Shawn still manages this location. The service runs better when...
