Golden Garden — Restaurant in East Orange

I got some takeout there once & liked it, so I had some delivered yesterday. Driver refused to get out of the car! I'm not from here, but it was daylight on a busy street. I called the restaurant about this and was told that customers must go out to the car to retrieve their orders. What?! Rubbish! Maybe he'd had some trouble before, but if you want to do business with me in the neighborhood I live in, don't insult me by making me bring the money out to you. Meet me at the door, like all the other deliverers I've had here. Never again. This was just a bad move. Update 10/2015. I've ordered from them since, and they've sent a good driver who meets me at the bldg door. Today? Same past nonsense happened with driver calling me, I come downstairs, and he sits in the car beckoning at me to come out. I went upstairs and called the restaurant. The driver told them I never picked up my phone. Lies. I answered, came downstairs, waited, and then he showed up and beckoned at me to come out. If you are Vegetarian or Vegan there are definitely some choices for you here.. Food is made to order and vegetables are always fresh.. Except for their crab sticks which comes frozen-pre packaged; I definitely will not be getting those again. Very rarely do I get the fried fish meal which is always wonderfully made. I usually get their fried fish with vegetable fry rice and it is to die for.. On a regular basis I get their Brocolli in General Tsao' sauce with steamed rice or their Mixed Vegetables in Garlic sauce or sometimes curry sauce with steamed rice.. These are my go to Vegetarian dishes and they're always well made.. Overall this is my go to place for Chinese food and this will not change...
