The Pantry at Avenue N — Restaurant in East Providence

I have been meaning to post a review of this spot for some time now. If you are looking for your kitchen away from home you've found it. The owners, Nick and Tracy along with their talented crew of culinary gurus have taken that down home cooking we all crave and love and simplified it for you. They take all that prep time out of your already busy schedule and leave you with just the stellar results ready to pick up, bring home, heat up and enjoy. Their prepared foods range from roasted chicken, beef tenderloin, meatloaf, and glazed salmon just to name a few along with any paired sides you can imagine. Perhaps you are in a hurry and just want to grab a quick bite. The Pantry has you covered with their list of handmade signature salads, soups and sandwiches (some pressed on the panini grille) to get you through your day. One of my favorites being the black bean veggie "mac" burger. Oh and their tomato bisque is out of this world. What's that? You are a big "buy local" or organic type, well they got you covered here as well with their vast selection of anything and everything local and organic from spices, honey, nut butters, beverages, soaps and lotions. Recently several friends and I had a delightful outdoor lunch at the wonderful Pantry at Avenue N … Weather was lovely and in the theme of nostalgia Nick played WE'LL MEET AGAIN an old song by VERA LYNN over the loudspeaker ..very suitable for the mood of the day!
