Not Just Thaboule — Restaurant in Easton

Copied from my yelp review: This place served some of the worst food we've ever had. Now I am Middle Eastern so I always make sure to be fair when eating out at a middle eastern place- it is never the same as home cooked. The problem here is that not only was the food bad, it was old. We went on Easter Sunday- for a quick lunch and got two falafel plates and tabouli (they spell it wrong in their logo, I should have known).

The falafel had a very strange tang to it and was overly moist. The texture was all wrong. The tahini sauce on top was terrible- like they just dumped raw tahini instead of actually preparing the proper sauce.

The tabouli was literally all wheat. Now this is how it is ALWAYS served in American restaurants and supermarkets but not at real middle eastern restaurants. The guy said he used Lebanese recipes- I call bs. I could have gotten past the wheat if it tasted good but it was extremely dry.

To top it all off, everything tasted like it had been prepared the day before and in fact, both my husband and I got sick that afternoon.

Me and my family have gone here so many times over the years and let me tell you the food is always delicious! Not to mention even though it's a small shop the owners are always the sweetest and nice. You can tell they put amazing effort, devotion, and love into what they do and it shows with the food. The owners are also super friendly and personable people as well. I've had middle eastern food from other places before from food trucks to sit down dine in restaurants and you can't compare to the quality and taste of the food from here. Whether your new to middle eastern food or have had it before this is definitely a nice "mom and pop" style restaurant I ALWAYS recommend to and try to stop at to grab my favorites whenever I'm...

I manage a very busy brunch restaurant and our biggest + busiest day of the year is Mother’s Day. With a staff of about 30 working from 5:30am-6:00pm there has got to be food - for sustenance and sanity! But the food must be: good, hot, fresh, timely, reasonable, sustaining, and easy! Joe at Not Just Thaboule made our Mother’s Day a great day! He took my order with ease… he provided delicious food… he delivered it and right on time.
