What a great find! We were on our way home and spent an hour looking for a place to eat on Google. Everything was either low rated or super expensive and I had a car full of hungry kids! We stopped here on a whim and I'm so glad we did!
The hostess was not so great. She was not friendly or warm like a hostess should be in a small town, but she seated us quickly and efficiently.
We were brought chips, salsa, and some kind of delicious white dip. The kids were thrilled! The waiter took our order quickly. We waited about 10-15 min for our food and had about 4 bowls of chips between the 7 of us (hungry kids!)
The portions of food were HUGE! The seasoning was just right and the temperature was sizzling hot! My hungriest 2 kids couldn't finish their meals! One got the nacho supreme appetizer and one got a burro gigante or something like that. My 7 year old was still hungry after finishing her quesadilla kids meal but had leftovers from her brothers. The 3 year old got a plate of rice. After the first few spoons went in her lap, I asked for a bowl and they quickly got me one. Then most of it went in her mouth! The veggies were fresh delicious! The flavor on my fajita was awesome!
We ordered 2 fajita meals, 1 kids meal, 1 appetizer for a meal, a burro gigante, an adult quesadilla meal, a side bowl of rice, and a beer. With tip it came to $94.
We came in famished and left very full and happy. My 8 year old is already talking about when we can go back to the beach so we can eat...
Read moreI give the food 5 stars and the service 1.5 so I will go with 3. The carnitas is wonderful, crab chimichanga is great, fajitas that come in a pineapple are amazing. Been coming hear a long time, and have never had a bad meal. Now on to the service... if you get a woman server, you are in business! They run hard and work. If you get a guy, may as well leave. Most of the male servers are in their 50s, and would rather be anywhere. Today at 330 it was my family and 2 other tables. We get the guy... drink was empty for about 10 minutes. Kept making eye contact to try and get his attention, as soon as I would, he would look away quickly and go the other way. Finally the woman from the other section came over and took care of us. We were all done, and again, no sign of him. Again she came over and took our plates and brought us the check. I just hope she got the tip. About a week and a half ago, waited for the check, and waited and waited, finally caught the attention of a woman working another section, as our guy dissapeared to wherever, and had her get us the check. Basically the last 4 or 5 times with the male waiters our service had been awful. I love the food so I hope...
Read moreMy husband & I just finished a wonderful dinner we ordered online and picked up to enjoy at home. Before the virus we used to go to Plaza Jalisco about once a month, but hadn't been there since coming back from Florida in March. We ordered combination plates with chile relleno, and I had a chicken tamale and my husband had a chicken enchilada. We picked it up about 30 minutes after ordering and everything was piping hot when we ate it at home. I have always loved their potato filled chile rellenos and tonight they were better than ever! The enchilada & tamale were filled with chicken breast and done perfectly. The rice & beans sides were very fresh and tasty. As a bonus they also included chips and their two red and white dipping sauces. All in all , Plaza Jalisco is our go to place for the best Mexican food in the Easton area. We have been patronizing this restaurant since our move to Easton in 2001 and are so happy that they are hanging in and are there to serve our community. Thank you...
