In all honesty I’m not an expert or anything so just my own taste I feel at $85 I spent on the loaded Mac n cheese with brisket and the loaded corn with cheese and brisket. My sons brisket kids sandwich A three meat meal two drinks and an extra sausage. Let’s just say the coke and fries were the ONLY edible things my family chewed on. The owner was great and understood and immediately wanted to refund but I support small business but food quality it just wasn’t there really fatty pulled pork which came after everything so it literally looked like fatty pile of cold meat, one sausage was like a tannish color that tasted like a hotdog, the hatch green chili sausage had zero flavor, the coleslaw zero flavor except the seasoning that was sprinkled on top . Baked beans tasted like ketchup with brown sugar on canned bean, brisket was decent just crazy fatty more fat than meat. The loaded cheese corn and Mac was probably the worst I’ve ever had . The Mac and cheese at least ours was orange color. And the corn tasted like canned corn with government cheese on it. Again my own experience maybe on this Monday it was just off but I was not at all liking any...

I do not normally leave reviews but I feel like I have to at this point. We love supporting local and we have given this place 3 tries. The first 2 times food was great but the staff has been beyond rude every single time. The 3rd time we ordered “to go” and all I can say is YUCK. The fries were soggy, wet and cold the macaroni is stale and worse than boxed Kraft Mac and the sandwich was greasy and oversaturated. Now, I understand dining in is a much different experience as far as freshness and quality goes..so I am willing to let that slide. What I cannot let slide is the female staff and attitude (and to preface, this is a female writing from my husbands account) y’all have been rude EVERY single time we’ve been there, like what gives? If you don’t like your job work somewhere else because customer service is key. And the rudeness will be the catalyst to why this establishment will not succeed long term. It’s sad to see, because the food can be great but the customer service is absolute trash and needs to be...

The food was pretty good. Brisket was tasty but dry; maybe cut thin slices against the grain. Ribs were quite tasty, perfectly seasoned and smoked. Coleslaw was light and crunchy, hint of spice was a nice touch. I think my expectations were higher due to the first time was a catered wedding. The catered food was definitely selective cuts and cooks, must have caught them on an off day. Service was adequate and timely. Pulled pork was full of flavor, but quite dry. I have had the sausage and find it to be pretty good. Limited menu should tell me the food is focused and spectacular, similar to high-end restaurants and quality food trucks; but that is not accurate here. Because a friend swears it was a flook visit, we will give them another try and a second rating in the near future. With very little competition, much of the local bbq joints can serve mediocre food, charge a premium, and your average inexperienced meat eater may not know any better. Let's give them another...
