I thought it was just me.... I began working in Newark in Feb of 22 and the DD location is on the way to the parkway, so very convenient. Every time I stop by in the morning at first 2-3 times a week but now it's maybe 3 times a month, I would get the wrong order, rushed along and usually the bacon is cold with grease on it from sitting so long. The one time I addressed the error the African american (I believe manager) corrected it and was very helpful. A month or so later I had gotten on the parkway with the order wrong and when I returned the next day, I asked for the manager and the young lady said I am the manager (I think she is the assistant mgr.)I had mentioned the continuous issues I've had and she began to yell at me saying that I made the wrong order. I let her know I was just looking to go somewhere and get what I order and have my dunkin crew in the morning. She was so rude, even the other day one of the girls said oh look it's so and so's best friend.....Today I drove past it because after asking them to warm up the bacon yesterday on my order, they still gave it to me cold with cold grease on it. Read moreFor a newer location, this one is terrible. I have gone to this location a handful of times, and each time the employees appear grouchy and irritated. They never get my iced coffee drink correct, despite the label sticker being 100% accurate. Ask for less ice, get full-on ice, ask for a few pumps of flavor, and the drinks come out tasting sugar-free. I went there for the last time today when I was told by the gentleman at the drive-thru that they no longer have the iced Sunrise Batch coffee, and that it has been "discontinued." Keep in mind, this is a BRAND NEW PROMO that began on 7/21/21 and runs until 8/17/21 I believe. (today is 8/13). I even have the promo coupon for $2 in my Dunkin app to use. So I had to drive to another location in order to get the same drink, with no issues. I was on my lunch break from work, so this was very inconvenient. The point, Dunkin, is that you need to get better employees for your Hope Road, Tinton Falls location. They have not been that good & it's really not a good look for you. Read moreAs someone whose first job was at a Dunkin’, I’m always very sympathetic to the workers. This is unfortunately the only Dunkin on my normal route to work where I don’t need to go out of my way. I’m never impressed. The food itself is never as good as other locations and service is so slow.
I’ve ran into the oddest issue multiple times now where I’ve ordered from on the go app for convenience… only to get there and have the lobby door locked and I’m unable to get my order. I find it so odd and would be curious to know why they do this??? I’ve never heard of any other Dunkin or business doing this before. The mobile orders were literally sitting in the pickup spot but nobody could get inside to get them?
