I’ll start off this review by saying that I was extremely excited to try this restaurant. I was recommended by a friend and had been planning for weeks! My family and I finally made the drive out more than half an hour just to come here. Its sad to say that my highest rating goes solely to the atmosphere. The restaurant is super cute , very aesthetic and comforting. These are really the only positive things I have to say about this establishment. I cant rate the food because we sat for more than half an hour without our server taking our order even after she had been alerted that we were ready to order. Our server appeared to maybe be one of the owner a short lady with glasses and short hair. She was also the person that (and i say this very loosely) “greeted” us at the door. She almost seemed displeased to have us walk in, regardless in a very rude manner she seated us, took our drinks and walked away. Drinks arrived, no straws. We did have her wait 5 minutes while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Once they arrived she didn’t bother to take their drinks. We had to ask someone else for the drinks. She came to us to drop off a hot coffee, no spoon. When she did bring the spoon we requested for a small coffee cup, she brought out a ridiculously large cooking spoon that barely fit in the mug to stir the coffee. She also mentioned that the iced coffee machine went “blitz” and walked away, didnt even let the other person at our table choose a different drink. We had to ask someone else for the drink, again. No straw. Our server walked into our section at-least 10 more times to check on other surrounding tables, pick up plates and still walked right past us without any intentions to look our way all while we continuously tried to wave her down so she could take our order. It’s almost as if she was purposely ignoring us. This was a horrible and awkward experience for us. We even noticed another table across from us awkwardly staring and smiling at us because it’s almost as if they felt bad for us just waiting and waiting. Its sad to say we also noticed a table that arrived way after us had already ordered and finished their food by the time we decided to just pay our drinks and leave. I dont want to be that person and say this felt racially motivated, but this definitely felt that way. Our server with the glasses and short hair, another short woman with short hair, and a slender woman with hair at shoulder length all passed by our table at least 10 times and no one bothered to check on us. Before you go to this quaint little restaurant tucked away think twice, the aesthetic look to this location can be very decieving.

I believe in giving our local small businesses all the attention and support that is needed to help them out but this place is “NOT” worth your time. Let me tell you about our ordeal and I’ll let you decided.

Upon arrival, no one is there to greet you, that is just hospitality 101 gone bad, secondly they have the cooks cleaning the tables and waiting on the only “ two couples” in the restaurant.

Once we find a place to sit down, there are sheets of paper on the table that I mistakenly mistook for table covers. It appears these papers are our menus. The proprietor of this establishment can do a better job in getting descent menus, after looking over the OUTRAGEOUS prices on the menu, we finally decide what we want.

It takes us 10 minutes to get someone to help us and then another 10 minutes to get the cook/waitress to take our order & if that wasn’t bad enough the health inspector shows up which makes the situation a whole lot worse.

When we finally get our food, that food is cold, tasteless and really unappealing. When I complain to the cook/waitress about our food she really doesn’t seem sympathetic to our needs, “ talk about BAD customer service”. What a nightmare, I asked for the owner and she replied back that the owner was running late and didn’t know if she was coming in. I felt it was necessary to bring this to her attention.

The service and food at this location is TERRIBLE and highly overpriced I recommend you “NOT” going here. I wish I could say every cloud has a silver lining at the end but this place is BAD!

At the end of it all, guess who shows up, the owner. I tell her about our bad experience with the food and just like the cook/waitress she really doesn’t care, she gives us a lame excuse about the health inspector showing up and making her only two employee nervous, she was basically covering up for the only two employees she had working there and mind you it was only us and another couple that were there. It expected “maybe“ a discount for the inconvenience and the bad customer service and food but at the end got neither, instead I got but a non-apologetic sorry.

Well folks, this my story I feel like I went on for ever but I STRONGLY feel this should be out there. A word of advise to the owner and the staff, next time take care of your customers these are the people who support our small businesses in succeeding in our communities. It’s sad when you get...

Great place to go have a bite. Went with my wife. She got the Monte Cristo sandwich with a side salad. Side salad had a homemade dressing which was delicious. I myself had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and three cheese macaroni. For starters we had fried mushrooms.

1st Course: Fried Mushrooms were ok and the only reason I’m giving this place a 4 out of 5 stars. Mushrooms were fried on the outside and cooked well on the inside but some were raw. The waiter did say that it was their first time trying the mushrooms on the menu so will cut them slack.

2nd course: Monte cristo sandwich/meatloaf were excellent. Perfect on the presentation of the sandwich and taste. Presentation was ok on meatloaf but taste made up for it. Really good. 3 cheese Mac and cheese was I’d say a 8/10 on taste.
