Not sure where to begin, the workers seem to be the problem. They aren't very friendly, to clarify they are rude, biased, and discriminatory. I waited 30 mins for my small order while I watched 8 customers (not including drive-thru) get served their food. All of these people came in after me. When I tired to mention anything all they had to say was "step to the side and wait." I confronted an employee directly and they were NOT at all caring towards my situation and they seemed to have an attitude with me after I DID NOTHING except remind them about my order. I got my food, no apology just "things are a taking a minute," I proceeded to say that I had been waiting 30+ mins and the one worker refused to make the rest of my order all because I said that. I am not sure who the manager is but something isn't right there, as they never stepped in to control the situation.
This was not the only problem I had. Maybe they had a bad day, new employee, or an old one ready to quit. In the past I have gone through the drive thru and items are usually forgotten, classic stuff no big deal for fast food. Other times they denied me service, like it was late, but only 30-45 mins until closing. I went to the drive thru and they would not serve me and all I got was an angry worker yelling at me about how they can't make my order because they are NOT closed. They also insulted me and tried to make feel stupid or bad about myself for wanting food while they are open. Again not sure what is happening here or who the manager is, but if I ran a business like that I would be out of business.
The workers seem to be the problem, I will NOT be returning after today. I felt humiliated and stupid for walking into a restaurant and expecting food. I am fairly open minded and like to keep things light however I had multiple bad encounters here so will not return to try this experience again, life is already tough and I don't need more of this. The workers all seem to think that whatever they say makes sense, but in reality it only adds more confusion. I wish all these people and the establishment the best moving forward with...
ย ย ย Read moreAt some point I would like to speak to the general manager of this particular Popeyes in eddystone PA. I have experienced to awful experiences at this Popeyes. We in the community surrounding the area have been excitedly waiting for Popeyes to return and now that they are back the staff that they have hired that are new are terrible! They are rude from the manager to the shift manager to the staff and I have had encounters with each. They are closing early before the time they're supposed to for whatever reason they are not giving proper notice that they're closed outside whether it be a sign or that you drive up to the speaker and they tell you they will have a line of people sitting and waiting and once you drive up they yell that they're closed after you have waited so long which is very inconsiderate. I've had a young lady yell through the drive-thru window all sorts of expletives that they're closed they want to go home they don't want to wait on anyone else which was very very inappropriate which caused me to react in a manner I didn't choose to. I receive the wildfire shrimps and they were cooked terribly they were not even edible once I spoke to the manager he cut me off and told me that's the way they are no matter how many times they are cooked that is the way they are and he was very rude when he said it. I am not satisfied with the behavior that I've been experiencing from the staff or the food and in turn I will be contacting someone from corporate so that there is better service for our area to have. If you take the time to read this I am apologizing for it being lengthy but I had to say...
ย ย ย Read moreWhen I arrived there was a long line at the drive thru and also inside. While inside I noticed that most of the employees were wearing appropriate head gear(hairnets & hats). There was a manager who was handling the food, but was not wearing anything on his head or beard. While still in line I called the store, and spoke with someone who I'm assuming was over the manager in question. I said to him this particular manager was handling food and did not have a hat or hairnet on, and turn he replied to me that managers don't need hats on. Ivan said to him that he does need a hat on or hairnet because he's handling food. He pulled the manager aside said something to him the manager then put a beard net on, and proceeded to make sandwiches. When I finally got up to the counter before I place my order I asked the cashier to get the manager for me I said to the manager he needs to put a hat on he's handling food and before he handles my food he needs to put a hat on. That manager said to me oh he will he will we will handle it , we handle it he was still standing there handling food so I said to him he needs to step away from the food before my food is made! And he finally left from the food area. The chicken sandwich I ordered was plain(no pickle or special spicy sauce), it was good but not better than...
