Went yesterday afternoon with two adult sons for drinks, waiting on 6 other friends and family. Service was excellent and the home brewed beers offered a good selection of light, medium and darker craft beers. Positive areas was Service; waitstaff very attentive. Negative area was their food. I sampled 10 different apps and plates; and was very disappointed with taste, either bland or very over spiced.

For example the sides: The Frech fries tasted OK, but my pet pieve with fries is taste and size. Most of the fries were in very small crumpled pieces and looked unappealing. My black bean burger was very greasy, and had a lousy taste. I have enjoyed various other veggie type burgers and rated this burger very low for taste and presentation. The small amount of guacamole and aeoli on top was also bland, and not appealing.

Just to increase my samples, I also tried the guacamole with chips. Very underwhelming with almost no taste, Also very small portion with three other dip choices which were bland and visually unappealing. As an FYI, I only had water prior to sampling the foods. My adult daughter ordered the chicken taco plate and mentioned it was gross. I tried one of her uneaten tacos and noticed the chicken was over spiced for heat. The description did not mention spicy, and even if you discard that observation; the chicken and other ingredients looked like a motor oil blend shoved into the soft taco. My spouse ordered the BLT and said it was fine. Another person ordered one of the fried chicken sandwiches. Taste was very salty, very salty, and very salty. Fries were also consistently crumbled and unappealing.

I could go on and on. I did not complain because the service was excellent, and my table definitely enjoyed their beers. I gave the place two stars due to he poor quality food experience, but would give THS four stars if you go to drink and socialize. The outdoor area is nice, but could use a shade option. It's apparent not much effort in the design. I would say for a newer venue, the tables and floor surfaces were surprisingly dingy. The restrooms seemed OK for function, but also needed attention. The management and food staff needs a wake up regarding attention to detail with food and cleanliness.

Your experience might vary. I would probably not have enjoyed THS during a very busy Friday or Weekend period. I hope if you check the place out, you have a much better experience. I do not live in the Minneapolis area, and from several prior visits, have enjoyed other similar brew pubs and area restaurants. Finally, if the food was better, I would remark the prices were fine. Alcohol costs were reasonable. The staff is a bright spot in a very underwhelming brew pub. Enjoy your day and thanks for...

Great looking. Not so busy day/time, but took a while to get the waiter to come take our drink order. When he took or drink order, he was at the end of the table and asked only the two at the end for their order, which they didn't want anything so he left, and the waiter never asked the rest of our party which everyone else DID want a drink. Had to flag down another waiter to get ours to come back and the guy seemed irritated and made it seem like it was our fault he had to come back for our drink orders. Waiter also forgot a drink, and had to be flagged down again and reminded about 20+ minutes later, and again seemed irritated. Half the menu has chips in the dishes and every dish we ordered had STALE chips. One of our dishes had a different side than what came out on the plate, waiter apologized and got the correct side. At the end, the check was all screwed up and had things that were not even ordered on it.... Did I mention they weren't busy. Probably won't be going back. Walleye taco was good tho (hence the only star), without the...

Wonderful local bar. The atmosphere is wonderful. Cheers! I wrote the prior statement 5 years ago and stand behind it for the last 4.5 years... but not anymore. The last two times I have been there. The last was June 18, 2024. Both times, I ordered a burger and fries... Not something that should be difficult to cook... but it was not good!! The bugers were overcooked to the point of dry and tasteless, and today the fries were... I'm struggling to find the words to describe them... they were so overcooked. That I think they had been loose in the frier for a day or two and they cleaned the oil and missed the garbage and put them on my plate instead. The have nice beers.... but... if they can't cook a burger and fries.... I don't trust them with anything that is more difficult to make.... may be they are training a cook... but I'm done paying for their lack of skill. Go for a beer and on the way home pick up some takeout from any place but them. I'm sad to see the place go so...

I’ve sampled a few different things on the menu, and all were great , but the burgers are my fave. OMG this month I must be in burger heaven! The Irish is layer upon layer of deliciousness. A lovely stone ground mustard, then pickles, 1/2 lb ground beef burger with dubliner cheddar melted over top, a light cabbbage slaw and slice of corned beef are next, and finally a sublime Irish coffee sauce. The flavor combo is so amazing! The crispy fries that come on the side, also fab. For my beverage, I enjoyed the Pitstop Lager, which has a subtle cherry flavor. If that is not your style, they have an award winning assortment of their own craft beers. I was somewhat tempted to try and keep this place a secret, but the food is too good and the staff are wonderful. Go and enjoy, give them good business, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been to Town Hall Brewery many a time, and used to play trivia there every Monday so I am no stranger to the great beers and delicious food that comes out of its kitchen, but I’ve never been to this spot, which is conveniently on the way to the trivia I host every week in Hopkins. I’ll be back. Although I was a bit crushed that I couldn’t get my favorite of their beers – the Dortmunder – the options we chose were interesting and complex. The nachos always deliver and, while I was excited to be able to order a birria 🌮 these were not my favorite. As you can see from the picture, they hadn’t been dunked in the consomme before getting cooked on the griddle, and the dry nature of the 🌽 tortillas wasn’t my favorite. The contents and the consomme itself were very good though and I’ll know better for next time.

Fun little neighborhood restaurant built into an old automobile gas and service station. Plenty of parking with a lot of other retail businesses around it. We ate later in the evening around 8pm and there was no wait for a table. We sat outside on their patio which is very pleasant. Plenty or room and the restaurant is dog-friendly. There were many families eating in the patio that brought their dogs. All the dogs were well-behaved and it wasn’t an issue. Food tasted great and was reasonably priced. Fish and chips that I had was very well portioned. I was stuffed! My wife had the walleye fish tacos that she loved! Very enjoyable experience dining here. Enjoy!
