Clubhouse Sports Lounge — Restaurant in Edwardsville

We came here for the first time Sunday. They advertised having the Sunday ticket, but only had one game on even though three games were on. We stood at the hostess stand for around 5min being ignored. There were not any signs saying to wait or seat yourself. Finally my husband flagged down the bartender and she sat us. We watched others have the same problem. The waitress brought us drink menus saying they were food menus. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a margarita. When they were empty she never asked if we wanted another. We ordered the appetizer wings flight and the sweet potato fries. The wings were bland with the sauces on the side in an annoying dish to try and share. Our sweet potato fries took forever to come out and she gave us a side instead of the appetizer. Once we finished eating my husband had to flag her down for another beer. She brought the bill without us asking and told us to take our time. We planned on ordering dessert and drinking more while watching the game. She came back less than 5 min later seeing if we were ready to pay. We ended up paying but stayed to finish the football game. She never checked on us again. We had to flag her down to order the brownie flight. The brownie flight was good but you could tell they just came out of the refrigerator. Not impressed for our first time. This is unfortunate because we are looking for a spot to watch...

The good: husband and I both got burgers and fries. The burgers were decent, and the fries were good. The portions were a little small for the price. The bad: we were seated in the bar area on a Saturday night, and while it was busy, there was no wait and several tables were unoccupied. The layout for seating in the bar area absolutely needs to change. When seated at our table, my husband sat back-to-back with a customer who was facing the bar, and neither of them could move. Their chairs were actually touching, and the chairs don't swivel, so it's nearly impossible to get in and out of the seats in such tight quarters. My husband and I eventually switched places, but that didn't make it any better. Two times when patrons came through to use the restroom, I was physically pushed into our table so people could squeeze through. The service was just ok. We ordered our food, it was brought out, and we did not get approached again until it was time to leave. We didn't need anything, so it was ok with us that we didn't get checked on. It's a shame that the seating where we were located was so uncomfortable, because the place seems pretty cool. With as many restaurants as there are in the area, we probably will...

I thought at first that this place could be a new lunch spot to stop in on active days on the town. We stopped in and got food maybe 3 different times before i ordered on doordash today. When ordering you are confronted with a terribly unoptimized online menu with unclear prompts and predatory selections for extra sides to try and make you say "screw it lets just spend the extra money on the thing i don't really want." After sorting through pages of unoptimized additions to meals and selecting what i thought would be a double bacon jalapeno jam burger with all the regular toppings i received a cold bun with 2 stone cold dry pieces of meat on them with no toppings. SO as one does i tried to go through doordash at first to try and get a credit towards another order so that i could order another CORRECT burger. After finding out that for cheese bacon and jalapeno jam id receive an EXCITING total of $3.50 after paying around $18 for the burger and fries. We decided to have my more polite and forward partner call the restaurant to see if they would allow us to pick up a correct burger and make it right.
