Today my husband and I had breakfast here…..this makes the second time in a week we have eaten here. We’ve never visited Denny’s twice in a week or month before! Today the Resturant was busy and we had to wait just a few minutes for a table to be cleaned before we were seated. Our server was pleasant and had a trainee with her. We noticed she was a bit bossy and short with him and telling him to do things he had already done or was doing. The poor guy was doing an excellent job and she made him nervous. We ordered in a fair amount of time. Our food took a while to arrive. My husband’s entire breakfast came out all together. My food came out in bits and pieces. First the strawberries and bananas for my pancakes were given to me. Then a minute later his breakfast came out along my bacon and hash browns. 6 minutes later my pancakes arrived . By this time my husband was halfway done with his meal and my hash browns and bacon were cold. I mentioned this to my server but didn’t want either remade because I didn’t know how long it would take to receive it . A minute later our server brought out a plate of fresh, very hot, hash browns for me! Even with the food issue our food was good, bacon and hash browns cooked crisp like I asked, and wheat pancakes were fluffy and tasty. My husband enjoyed his ham, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. On a side note: the music was a nice touch but it was very loud. Could have been turned down a notch. All in all it was a good Denny’s breakfast but we weee disappointed in the servers bossy attitude and my meal being served a piece at time...
Read moreme and a group of friends came to eat late at night tonight & when my girl friends and i went into the bathroom we noticed someone threw up all over the sink to the point where they clogged it but we didn’t say anything because we thought that staff was already aware of the situation (as a manager you should be checking the bathrooms of your establishment constantly). later on, as we were eating, the manager came up to us asking if we made that mess which is valid at first but then continued to question us & harass us making us feeling extremely uncomfortable. even after we explained to her that it was already like that when we got there she kept insisting it was us which was completely unprofessional and had an extremely rude attitude. she claimed there was no one in the restaurant at the time but there was at least two other tables when we arrived. we then saw and heard her talking bad about us throughout the night with other coworkers which is unacceptable. she definitely ruined our dining experience tonight, we feel offended and disgusted with her behavior. i forgot to ask for her name but she is a shorter height & had a bigger stature as well as an olive skin tone & had red lipstick on. i hope she doesn’t make others feel as uncomfortable as she...
Read moreOn our way to cross into Mexico, we had the privilege of stopping at Denny’s restaurant for a meal. Our experience there was made truly memorable thanks to our incredible waitress, Ana. From the moment we sat down, Ana went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. She made sure we had everything we needed, that our meal was perfect, and even went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.
When we mentioned we were heading to Mexicali, Ana shared that she had cousins there. Not only did she engage us with warm conversation, but she also took the time to prepare a list of must-visit places and activities in Mexicali. This thoughtful gesture completely floored us, and we’re forever grateful for her kindness and hospitality.
The food itself was a 5/5. I had the best lasagna I’ve ever tasted, and the rest of the meal was equally delightful. The restaurant is cozy, open 24/7, with clean and comfortable seating that makes you feel right at home.
If you’re ever in the area, I strongly recommend stopping by Denny’s. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is second to none. A big thank you to Ana and the entire staff for turning a simple meal into a...
