Las Conchitas Bakery — Restaurant in El Centro

The Mexican sweet bread is the most delicious, ever. It melts in your mouth. Reason for the low score is because of the service. Since I walked in, I felt the energies kinda heavy... there were 3 ladies and only one assisting customers, and she was taking her time. At one point, there were 6 customers and there didn't appear to be any effort to assist the customers and get them out. Almost they you could feel as of they didn't want to be there. When I was finally helped, I began to tell her what I needed and then she just turned around and began talking to one of the ladies who worked there. Kinda left me,in mid-sentence...Pretty rude.. As I said, the bread is outstanding but the service...

I like bakery because it has all of the Authentic, Original, Mexican Bread's, and -or- Pastries. Better known in Spanish as "Pan Dulce!" Another good thing about Conchita's is the other types of food, and beverages sold there as well such as: Tortas, Breakfast and Lunch Burritos, bottled and canned Soda's, Juices, Fountain Drinks, Sweet Tea w/ lemon, Cupped Coffee, or Hot Chocolate, etc. The only ONE beverage that is missing, but Need to be seen & sold there help complete the Authenticity is "Horchata" as a Fountain Selection/ on Tap. If the owner reads this just know that for the Horchata I'm speaking for over 50 people that are Regulars...

Don't place any order over the phone. I tried placing my order and was put on hold for more the 25 minutes, while on hold I drove over to Conchitas. I got in line and stood there for 8 more minutes while on hold on the phone. They called me in I placed my order and they told me they were no longer serving what I wanted because of the cut off time. I showed them the phone and how long I was waiting on hold. They insisted that it was to late. I understand they are undersafted, but thats no excuse to leave you on hold and not take care of...
