I can only speak for the bar. Went to a quinceanera that was held over the restaurant this past weekend. If we wanted liquor, we had to go downstairs and order from the restaurant. Came down around 7pm stood there for maybe 3 to 5 minutes, but the bartender did acknowledge us said she would be with us in a minute. It wasn't busy. There was 1 couple sitting at bar and 4 tables that had some people eating around bar area it was pretty empty. She stood there wiping down the little area infront of her and went to fix the bottles behind her then she finally came and asked what we would like i asked for 3 shot of patron because i saw the bottle there. Her response was that she didn't have any, so then i asked her what other tequila she had. Her response was she hardly had any liquor because one of the quinceaneras took all the liquor from the bar for their party. So i asked for a shot of titos because the bottle was there behind the bar she said she was out. Now she never walked over to check she just automatically answered, I thought well she would know what liquor she has and doesn't have. So i looked at menu and asked if she had stuff to make mai tai she said yes. Made it but $18 for shot glass size wasn't really worth it. The person who was going to order decided not to because they were taking too long and the bar hardly had any liquor. When we finally got back upstairs, people asked us what i got. i told them and said goodluck they take too long and hardly had anything. They came back 1 person got cranberry vodka cause all the had was titos which she said she was out of and they took too long. So we decided to just go down the street to the liquor store and make our own drinks...
Read moreI rarely do reviews, unless food is excellent or really bad service. Have to say, food was good, better than other sea food restaurants locally. Why 2 stars? We had a group of 7 people, normally this would give a 20% tip, and all tips are earned, not given. Waitress came, asked if we were ready , we asked a few minutes. 15 minutes roughly went by and she finally came back. We ordered food, and another 15 minutes, so far so good. They dropped off the food, never, ever offered a refill, or even cared if the food was good. We finished and 15 minutes AFTER we finished, she decided to come for the plates, still, no refills or how was the food. Chips and guac? Total miss, do not get them. They are too salty, cheese flavored? And the guac, it's 98% onions. Shrimp cocktails, good, but not out of the average, even jaliscos down Adams does the same, maybe a bit better. Oh, the check came by after 15 more minutes, when I got up to ask her for it. The part that made me go home and write this, was that I get it, 7 people eating, big group, we were the only ones in there, with another couple (2 more people) no real service, honestly 20% tip add on, was not deserved. she still added it to my bill after I signed. Even tho I normally would left money behind. We had 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 1 appetizer (ate less than half) and got charged 61 bucks, with a 10 dollar tip. Yup, not going back. Tips are earned tru customer service, and making sure customers are satisfied, if they aren't, don't expect your business to do good, get new workers that care, and wish to earn a tip, then it won't be a problem to tip 20 to...
Read moreThe place is beautiful, that alone would be 4/5 stars. The food was also very good, another 3/5 stars. But the service was horrendous. 0/5 stars. You would think that with investing in having the place look very beautiful and professional you would atleast have a decent budget to establish better training for your wait staff. We got there and we're promptly given a table, but that's where the efficient service quickly ended. We were probably sitting there for 15 to 20 minutes, constantly getting awkward stares from the wait staff because none of them knew whose table it was but yet everyone refused to help. It wasn't until I had to ask for anyone to get our drink order. Then the waitress comes along and rudely takes our order with an attitude like we were bothering her. Next another waitress comes and she apologizes about how no one is helping us and that this isn't her table but she is going to help us anyways. Finally they take our orders. And while we're waiting I'm watching the waitresses and they're just standing there confused about what is going on, and whos table is who's, and having a hard time giving the right people their food. They need better training, otherwise this establishment won't be able to handle their occupant capacity and you'll lose...
