It's always a treat to go to Donut Avenue. I consider myself lucky to live near the place and have the ability to frequent the take-out establishment. I always walk out with something I've been craving. If it's not an assortment of pan dulce, then it must be a dozen donuts that I know my friends will enjoy...down to the last bite. My personal favorite is the chocolate glazed creme-filled eclare. Once you've been there a few times, you might want to purchase a T-shirt that says you're ready for "Donut Time!" Donuts might be their speciality, but there is certainly a lot more to the menu than just sweet breads. You can order just about anything you want, the torta combos being a favorite. It comes with french fries a cold drink and a donut for dessert. My personal favorite is the carne asada burrito with rice and beans tucked in. I never have the guts to make my burrito jumbo sized. It's so cool to get home and unwrap the food we just purchased from Donut Avenue and sit back and relax eating a dinner that was prepared locally and goes to help small businesses in our community. Now don't forget about the donuts just yet because Donut Avenue's donuts are spectacular, always fresh, and can beat out any establishment on being the tastiest donuts...
Read moreApproximately three weeks prior to Teacher Appreciation Day, I requested a donation of pastries from your store. As instructed by Linda, I provided a donation letter from our school principal two weeks before the event. On May 5th, the day of pickup, one of my coworkers arrived at your bakery to collect the donation of 30 pan dulce. Unfortunately, she was informed by Lorena, the clerk on duty, that she had no knowledge of the donation and was unable to assist. Moreover, Lorena declined to contact Linda or the owner for clarification. After hearing about this issue from my coworker, I visited the bakery personally, only to receive the same response from Lorena. I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed—not only were we unable to fulfill the treat for our teachers, but we also encountered a lack of professionalism and customer care. The reputation of a business relies heavily on both its service and its staff. I am very disappointed about the way your business treats customers. I will not visit your bakery again and I will let everyone know about the terrible experience we had at...
Read moreHEALTH CODE VIOLATION: Me and my husband just went through the drive through and we were asked to park and wait for our food. No problem. When he brought out our food, we asked for straws because he forgot to give them to us so he had to go back inside to get them. While we were waiting, my husband noticed there was an extra box so he opened his food to look and he opened the box and got beans all on his finger from a moete they had given us by accident. The worker came out and told us he needed to get the moete back and when I told him my husband already stuck his finger in it he completely ignored me and said he had to give it to another person. I’m pretty sure he went inside to give it to the truck that was behind us because he left right after us. That is not only a health code violation but also very disgusting and it makes me question how many times they’ve done...
