Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in El Dorado

Went through the drive-through ordered a bag of burritos and hash Browns. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait so we agreed said we would run across the street for coffee. The guy named Matt at the window told us to park in the 1st spot and he would bring our food right out to us. We did just that and we waited for 15 minutes no food so I called a woman answered the phone and said she would bring it out. We waited some more so I went inside where the woman handed me a bag and I went back outside and no hash Browns in our bag. I walked back in the lady yelled from across the room check your receipt no hash Browns on the receipt. We never got a receipt so we drove back around through the drive-through where we had to honk 3 or 4 times just to get mapped to come back to the window. Only Matt didn't come to the window the angry woman came to the window and then told Matt to give us our receipt he had his R receipt in his pocket with napkins and salsa. Matt just chuckled it off and asked if we wanted to order hash Browns we said no we've already waited long enough we need to get on the road I would not recommend this place the employees are horrible and the food was not worth the wait. Maybe the lady manager needs some retraining and Matt needs...

Walking into this store, you can feel the tension flowing from behind the counter. I’ve had several… interesting experiences at this particular location, but I always come back cause I do love their Banana Splits. Today, my daughter and I went through the drive-thru. She ordered a Mix and I ordered a Banana Split. I got to the window, paid, and they handed me my daughters Mix. After a few minutes of sitting at the window, the manager asked me to pull forward, park, and someone would bring it out to me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to go ahead and go to the store to see what was happening. At the counter, I could see my Banana Split, done but the ice cream melted. I told the lady at the counter that we were late for an appointment and couldn’t wait any longer. She looked at me, picked up the banana split, and threw it in the trash. She did refund my money, but in general it was a weird experience. I was polite when I told her we needed to go and I wasn’t angry. Not sure why she felt the need to throw it in the trash instead of just finishing it and serving it to me. But whatever, I’ll still eat their Banana Splits cause they’re...

Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Looked like someone had diarrhea all over the toilet, floor, and wall. Wife said women’s bathroom was similar. Filled our water cups and found dark chunks floating in the bottom of the cups. Dumped water out and filled up the cup again with ice and water with the same results. Dark chunks must have been coming from the ice because they weren’t present when just getting water. I feel bad for those who were drinking soda out of a cardboard cup. They didn’t know they were drinking dark floating chunks in their soda. I mentioned it to a worker and she proceeded to look at the ice machine and said “they must not be cleaning it like they are supposed to.” Then she walked away and went behind the counter without doing anything.

The tables, booths, and floors were all filthy.

Even though I wanted to walk out without eating because I questioned if we were going to get sick, we decided to stay and eat because we had already paid for the food. The food was decent but not great.
