Disappointing Experience at Local Subway – Poor Customer Service
I recently had an unfortunate experience at my local Subway that compelled me to share my disappointment regarding the subpar customer service I received, particularly from the owner. I had placed an order through the app, expecting a straightforward and efficient pickup, but unfortunately, it turned into a frustrating encounter.
My order consisted of a chicken wrap, chips, and a vitamin water. Upon arriving at the store, I was handed a bag containing only the chips and wrap, with a fountain drink cup placed beside it. When I inquired about the missing vitamin water, I was met with a baffling response from the owner.
The owner explained that, despite the visible inventory of vitamin water in the refrigerator, he couldn't provide it because it was part of their stock and not for individual sale, claiming the website was incorrect. This explanation made little sense and seemed contradictory to common customer service practices. In a rush, I opted to grab the vitamin water myself from the fridge, but the owner unexpectedly blocked my access and reiterated that he couldn't sell it individually.
This interaction left me feeling frustrated, confused, and disheartened by the unprofessional conduct of the owner. The refusal to provide a clearly included item, coupled with an explanation that lacked coherence, demonstrated a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and a disregard for customer convenience.
The overall experience was far from the service standards I expect from a reputable establishment like Subway. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the reputation of the store. Regrettably, I have decided that I will not be patronizing this Subway location in the future, and I am inclined to share my experience with others to caution them about the subpar service.
It is my hope that the management takes steps to address and rectify such instances of poor customer service to ensure the continued success and positive reputation of the Subway franchise. A dissatisfactory encounter such as mine has the potential to impact the longevity of the establishment, and improvements are crucial to retaining customer...
Read moreThe reason this location was given a ONE star is because of a certain lady that is full of attitude and is rude to her customers . I did not see a manager to compalin to but this lady is getting away with bad customer service because she did not wore a name tag to begin with. And has very little patience and apparently cannot hear. I usually like to praise restaurants on their sazón (flavor)and service is last on my reviews but this cannot go any further I rather I get bad feedback from other customers and correct me, than have another customer get awful to horrible service. So with all this written if you person female medium to heavy weight curled wavy hair. If you are reading this take my advice and adjust your demeanor towards the valuable customers that keep you employed and yeah lose your attitude. BTW after I asked you for an extra side of banna peppers you forgot to put them in our bag. The 5 foot long sandwiches we bought and made by attitude girl were satisfactory and nothing more. God bless your...
Read moreWorst subways in the area. Avoid this place they will not take your valid coupon that they send you in the mail. The worker refused to honor my coupon for a foot long and on top of that the worker shredded my spinach into tiny pieces to “meet” my request for a little bit more spinach as the first attempt didn’t even make it to one end of the sandwich. Terrible experience!! I will travel out of my way to go to another location that isn’t trying to penny pinch the customer into writing a bad review. Subways by the green market in peck rd in El Monte you guys have terrible customer service. Only one guy in there knows how to treat customers right and the customer...
