This McDonald's on 11260 Montana should not receive a star. Even with one customer waiting to order and the employees just look at you while the managers are chatting until they are done then tend to the customer. I ordered a meal and a Carmel Frappe. Halfway to my destination I zipped on the Frappe and noticed a foul smell and a major sour taste. I pulled over to spit it out and smelled again to be sure only to realized it was the foul smell and sour taste from the Carmel Frappe. I went BACK to the store and questioned both Managers asking how often they clean their machines. One gave me this sarcastic look and told me they wipe the outside body of their machines "ONCE A WEEK every Saturday nights during closing hours." To my alarm surprise I asked how often they take apart the machines and thoroughly clean them inside-out. Both managers looked at me surprise and asked, "you mean like literally take the apart?" I said "oh you didn't know that and you're working in a restaurant? How often do you wash your dishes and clean your kitchen at home? NEVER?? Can you imagine the bacteria and nasty smell in your kitchen? The same idiot said "We don't take part the machines and I WORK NIGHTS I DON'T WORK DAYS! I never heard of anything about taking apart a machine and clean them out its not my job!" I asked, "You just said you work nights....well its 2PM right now and its daytime. Yes you take apart those machines and soak them in a bleach of water and soap, then clean them thoroughly and set them to dry until the next shift arrives in the morning to put them together for the next day's operation. I know you can smell the nasty stink from this Frappe I just ordered from you guys if you wanna take a zip at it. Otherwise I have no problem taking it to the OHSA's office right now." The same young manager idiot said, "we don't use bleach on anything around here so we don't allow bleach on anything." She walked away. Then I told the second manager "This is a big violation of infection control. As a restaurant you are supposed to take apart these machines at closing time and thoroughly clean them because if you are telling me you don't take apart these machines but wipe them down on the outside once a week, I can only imagine mounts of maggots and bacteria piling up inside from buildup sugar, milk, the temperature outside and the temperature sitting in the machines when they are turned off when the store is closed and you are trying to BS your way around with excuses and you are both managers!!! Your employees are paid $15 per hour and Im sure you are making triple as manager per hour but the quality of the restaurant cleaniness may already cause hundreds of customers health hazard issues. Can you zip on this Carmel Frappe?? She stepped back laughing at me and said "no..." I told her "then what makes you think that you can feed and poison your customers like this with heartless treatments like this? How do you feel if the situation was reversed or you or someone you care about is treated the same way???" I told her I was going to OSHA and Food Inspection office to file a complaint....I asked for both their names she said they don't give out their names for safety...
Read moreAVOID, AVOID, AVOID!Terrible place, this is the location closest to our house which naturally more convenient, at this point i would much rather drive to The JoeBattle and Edgemere location. Last week we had an emergency and had to stop by quickly to get my sons dinner, we placed the order and took off immediately. Only two find that half the order was missing! We had no time to turn back and get the order corrected, so my son did not get to eat which got me upset, i tried to call for about an hour and the line was “busy” i never got to talk to a manager regarding this issue. In the past they have messed up our orders but did not bother us since i was able to turn back and correct the order, that wasn’t the case this time. If you are going through a drive thru it should be correct majority of the time not the other way around, i understand that people make mistakes but THIS MANY??? This evening I went back and ordered a basket of fries for someone who is sick and cannot not eat much but starchy foods with salt, well the basket of fries came with what seemed like a large order of fries (if not less) and the fries were undercooked. In the picture i show a fully cooked fry and a undercooked fry (I received maybe about 4 to 5 fully cooked ones) Its so disappointing to go somewhere when you have no time only to just get terrible service and food. We will not be coming to this location and will notify our chains of influence to avoid this location at all costs. Extremely disappointed with the service Ive received in less...
Read moreI placed an order online and used my reward points to pay for it. When I tried to pick it up, the manager advised me that they were not accepting reward point orders! I asked her if my 6000 points that were deducted from my account would be returned, and she said it would. 5 months later, I have neither my quarter pounder with cheese nor my 6000 reward points stolen from me by the McDonald's on George Dieter & Vista del Sol. I have since contacted corporate, and they referred my "case" to their digital tech team to find the problem with "stealing" my reward points! Imagine a 43+ billion dollar company haggling over a $5.14 sandwich!!! A half intelligent manager would have given me the lousy sandwich and be done with, but no sir .... what would corporate say if they found out that a sandwich was given away to correct an obvious error in their operation????? I wonder how many sandwiches are disposed of at the end of each day??? Needless to say, the McDonald's app has been deleted from my cell phone along with the balance of my reward points...
