It was 6 minutes before opening time but the door was open so my son and I went in. Like in a horror movie the manager was sitting against the farthest corner of the place. He told us 'We're not open yet' with a totally cold unwelcoming face. My son said, ' But the door is open.' The mgr gave us a chilling stare. I had to tell my son to be careful because food service people have a way of getting back at complaing customers. We walked around for those 6 minutes and then came back. He was still on his phone in the farthest corner of the place. And then it got worse. Vianney, an employee, was waiting for us with a frightening look as if we were disturbing her alone time. I ordered first because I thought I could soften her attitude and she'd be nicer to my son. I said, 'toasted', no acknowledgement of my choice. Although she did it seethingly. No, her attitude wasn't one of a person feeling bad. It was of a person who hated being there, hated her job and hated that you were a customer. My son ordered the same thing next. As if walking on eggshells, we proceeded to pay and get out of her awful ways and manners. I requested a tray and she protested without even looking at me, 'We're don't have any trays!' 'What is her problem?' I thought to myself. Finally I go to fill my and my son's cup with a drink. As I moved away to take a seat, I noticed that one of the cups was leaking a lot. I go the counter and call out to this Vianney, 'Excuse me'. No answer. The mgr came to help and gave another cup. With a sour taste in our mouths we ate. The only reason we ate here was because it is next to my car dealership where my car was being serviced. AVOID THIS SUBWAY if you can. It'd be a horrible experience, one you'll...
Read moreThis is probably one of the worst subway locations in El Paso. The one on viscount is usually worse though. They are always incredibly rude and have an attitude EVERY time no matter what time of day or busy or not. There will be nobody there and they still have to be rude since they have to do their job all of a sudden. this seems like a common thing with every subway In El Paso. Today The man at the counter had his face mask below his nose, even pulled his mask off to talk to another customer, I'm sorry but where was the manager why is this allowed? There's no way this is okay during the pandemic. And I only went inside because I had to. I worked at a restaurant as well during this time and the mask thing would get someone in serious trouble let alone it not even being properly on anyway. obviously poor management. I'm not one to be rude to food service workers either but seriously? Don't know how it...
Read moreGROSS! I frequent this place a few time a month. What I saw today was the most disgusting thing I've seen. I saw an employee, while wearing his gloves, reach into his pockets and give some coins to his mother. He then, still wearing his gloves, reached for his backpack and gave her some more change. He then rinsed his hands (still wearing gloves) with water and dry them off. The employee then touched my sandwich and said "What would you like in it?" I told him what i had just witnessed and he goes on to tell me, "Yeah, but i washed my hands.", I told him, "You should have washed your hands and changed out your gloves before touching my food." He apologized and offered to make another sandwich, however, by that time I was completely grossed out. It will be a while...
