I love tea2go and I have been going to this location (which is the best in El Paso) for the last several months- it has become a bit of an addiction and usually I do not have any issues. However, the past two days of experiences had me questioning if I’ll ever want to go back again. Today around 1420 I went in to order some drinks to go. I had asked specifically for double boba (for a custom energy order that my husband loves) of mango and strawberry- being charged an extra $1.30 for each flavor. I had to go back to the car and my daughter went in to grab my drinks and order her own. She brought the drinks back to the car and I noticed that the custom energy had less boba in it than my Gummy Worm one did, and I assumed that maybe they mixed up the boba and the drinks. So, I went back in to respectfully address my concern. I said, "I really hate to come back and do this, but I think that the boba in the drinks got mixed up since this (my drink) looks like it has more than the other and it was supposed to be double boba- strawberry and mango." The female worker there (dark brown/black hair in pigtail braids) told me that she did the drinks right and that there was one scoop of mango and one scoop of strawberry. I told her I was confused because I paid for two orders of boba and they usually do two tablespoons of each flavor. She told me she fixed the drink right and that it was one tablespoon each flavor. She asked if I wanted more boba and feeling frustrated and thinking maybe I ordered it wrong I said yes, I would like to have more boba (husbands drink and wanted to bring it back right). She went over to the counter and went to charge me $1.20 for strawberry and $1.20 for mango (which thinking back I saw in the original order, but I second guessed myself thinking I may have ordered it wrong). I then mentioned I didn't want to have an overabundance of boba (2 tablespoons of each flavor = 4 tablespoons) and that I only wanted the 2 tablespoons, one of mango and one of strawberry. She said that she would have to charge $1.20 for each flavor. I asked if I ordered a drink and added one flavor of boba for $1.20 how many scoops would I get of that flavor? She told me 2 tablespoons of that one flavor. Then I asked so if I order two orders of boba of different flavors for $1.20 each wouldn't I get 2 tablespoons of the strawberry and 2 of the mango? She told me no because it comes from two different containers (doesn't make sense to me). I then said out loud that it made no sense to me. I got frustrated and told her nevermind.... its not worth it. She then she took the one charge off and charged me $1.20 and gave me one scoop of strawberry and one of mango. However, as she was putting the boba into the cup and handing it back to me she said such as (may not be verbatim) "I am going to do this once for you but if you come back in here and order boba nobody in here is going to do this for you again." I took my drink and left... but reflected on what was being said... she is completely rude and inconsiderate. I have NEVER been treated this way by any other tearistas- except for the male that was working with her today which was the one I was also confused about the boba issue- but he was much kinder about the situation on Sunday. Both of the individuals mentioned that this is how they were trained… makes me wonder who their trainer is and why the system does...
Read moreTwo visits in a row. Bad experience. After already having a problem in February. We are never coming back. And we used to go almost every day!! After expressing my problem to the owner, and even though we used to like the manager… he was rude!! Defending his team members. And saying “theres cameras…” implying we were lying about the incident and saying my husband was the one being rude. Just ridiculous. Defending everyone and saying he doesn’t believe they laughed at us. And that even after ordering for pick up, other people order too (drive tru) then why is there a pick up option? It should be ready by then! it’s not McDonald’s to be moving forward and waiting for other people to get orders. WE PAYED! Also he said he should but barricades like my husband has at the base? Because he didn’t go through drive tru order… since we were picking up? Next time maybe don’t be goofy dancing and singing and on your phones and pay attention on the drive tru window. C’mon don’t be...
Read moreI stop by often for drinks. The girls are always bubbly and very friendly. Love when they’re available to help. However, there’s some older dude who works the drive thru everyone now and then and his presence in general is not it! He comes off very full of himself and his “friendliness” seems forced. Today when I got to the window he told me I should smile. First off, I don’t owe you a damn thing. Secondly, when things didn’t go his way, he got very huffy & rude. For future reference, don’t tell a woman she needs to smile more. She owes you nothing of the sort. Had he greeted me with a friendly hello, I would’ve reciprocated. But that wasn’t the case. I was immediately asked why I looked so serious and that I should smile. I think he needs to learn his place and keep his thoughts on what a woman’s face should...
