My husband and I have tried this place out for Sunday brunch as well as dinner and drinks. The food was amazing on both occasions! For brunch, we tried the vegan pozole (pork version also available). I've never heard of vegan pozole, but this was surprisingly delicious. The monte cristo was also great and the unlimited $1 mimosas made for an excellent brunch. For dinner, we tried the pizza and had to quickly order another because we devoured it as soon as it hit the table. So much flavor! And it was perfectly seasoned and baked with an authentic touch that can only be accomplished with a brick oven. It made me feel like I was in Italy again. I also want to compliment this place on their fantastic service! Although it was quite busy for dinner, the staff was always cordial and very welcoming. I tried the "Pain Killer" on the cocktail menu, and the bartender brought the fire....literally. It was neat to see them create so many different beverages. Definitely going back to try the rest of the stuff on the menu.

Used to be a regular here. Now I’ll be doing business elsewhere. The manager and his girlfriend are out of hand. Rude, callous and ultimately irrational people. Shouldn’t be rude to people who you know are genuinely kind people. *UPDATE* I’ve yet to receive a formal apology for how I was treated. I would spend my money elsewhere, where people of color are treated with respect by management.

My favorite bar in this area. I miss when El Paso had little places like this everywhere. It’s more cozy and less corporate. I love that it’s dimly lit and the music usually playing is so much better than top 40s crap, hip hop or banderas you hear everywhere else. The bartenders are very chill but also make solid good cocktails. I hope this place always stays open.

I’ve come a few times and at first the experience was top tier and amazing but the last, maybe three times, the service has been so different!

1st experience they mentioned we could order food until a certain time and having been there before we were pretty decided fairly quickly on what we wanted. But the server came back out to our table so much later than we expected, didn’t even have drinks yet. And as we tried to order food he mentioned that the kitchen was actually closed sooner than he had thought and apologized. We were disappointed but figured her out cool let’s get a bottle of wine, enjoy it time here and get some food after. We ordered our bottle and it literally never came out. All that needed to be done was give us glasses and an open bottle since we had ordered the whole bottle. But 15 minutes passed and we never saw our bottle. So we decided to leave. And left the menu on the bar.

2nd time we came we wanted to show our friends the place because we still had high hopes and we were celebrating a birthday and they were excited about coming here! We’re got there around 7 and they mentioned that they didn’t know when their kitchen would be open so we couldn’t order food. But on here I can order food as early as 4:45pm and as late as 9? It was very disappointing :(

We want to be understanding with the staff over these incidents. They are upsetting to think about because we really enjoy the place but it hasn’t felt very welcoming the past few times. Maybe there’s been a misunderstanding of kitchen times on our end, but if so could we get the up to date hours for when we...

Atmosphere is great. Service is lacking though. Bar was semi busy but not slammed. Waited 20 minutes to get acknowledged while 5 people who walked up to the bar after me got served. All 5 walked up right beside me and got served. When I did get acknowledged I asked if they had a certain tequila, he didn't know so I asked for 4 shots of something equivalent. He walked away, walked into the back, talked to the other bartender and then started serving someone else while he poured some shots that ended up being for him and the other bartender. By that point I got the 2nd bartenders attention, closed my tab, and informed him why I was only leaving a 2 dollar tip. I was a bartender for almost 20 years so not leaving a tip is hard for me to do. But I was close on...
