I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Florabama Yacht Club, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and stunning waterfront views set the perfect backdrop for a lovely evening.

What truly made our visit special was our server, GiGi. She greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious energy that immediately made us feel welcome. GiGi was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to recommend her favorite dishes, and her enthusiasm for the food was contagious!

We started with the fresh oysters, which were absolutely delightful. GiGi had suggested pairing them with a crisp white wine, and it was a perfect match. For our main courses, I opted for the grilled mahi-mahi, while my friend tried the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were bursting with flavor, and you could tell they were made with high-quality ingredients.

Throughout the meal, GiGi checked in on us just the right amount, ensuring our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her genuine care for our dining experience was evident, and it added a personal touch that made the evening even more enjoyable.

My recent visit to Flora-Bama yacht club was truly outstanding, and a huge part of that can be attributed to the incredible manager Bradley and their dedicated team. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a level of hospitality that is all too rare these days.

The manager, Bradley, runs a remarkably tight ship. Every staff member we encountered was not only efficient and professional but also genuinely friendly and eager to make our experience enjoyable. Whether it was at the bar, in the restaurant, or simply navigating the lively atmosphere, the service was consistently top-notch.

Where to start. We're visiting Gulf Shores on a girls vacation from Missouri, and were beyond excited to visit the famed Flora Bama. Although we had done our research prior and expected it to be fairly busy, however, our hour long projected wait time turned into 2 hours, and we had go ask to be seated, as we had not been notified our table was ready. Our waitress tried to be accomodating to our severe allergies, but appeared flustered, overworked, and underpaid for the amount of tables she was responsible for. We saw no other waitresses in the outdoor section, and she was being helped by a child. Our appetizer order was incorrect, and not replaced, although it came out quickly. The restaurant could not accommodate our allergies, and instead suggested we order a "$15 salad with oil and vinegar." The live music was wonderful, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting; we sorta enjoyed our 3 hour no-food experience nonetheless. If you don't have any allergy restrictions, and are ok with a 2 hour wait before being seated, this place might be good for you.
