My father, husband and I went today for lunch. My husband has a passion for Greek and Mediterranean food and was so excited that they have the gyro on a vertical rotisserie. We tried the soups (lentil & avogelemono), lemon potatoes, chicken kebab, side of chicken, gyro sandwich, lamb kabob, green beans, shrimp kebab, and I had the falafel sandwich. Everything was fantastic (lamb kebab was a little chewy)! My falafel was the epitome of perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft pillowie inside wrapped in a toasted warm pita and thick flavorful tzatziki. We also each had a beer (Alpha is the Greek beer served) and they do offer limited wine. The place had a steady stream of customers and the staff kept the food coming out piping hot and delicious. The owner (also chef) was so friendly and came out to check on how we were doing. We live on the other side of Columbia and will be back again with my brother and his family. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste fantastic food and have a wonderful experience.

We drove almost an hour to try something new and different—and Gyromania did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. It truly set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We started with the hummus and pita and the calamari—both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. For our mains, we had the fresh salmon platter with rice pilaf and a crisp, refreshing salad, as well as the lamb chop platter served with perfectly seasoned lemon potatoes and green beans. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we ended the meal with the baklava cheesecake… absolutely divine! A rich, creative twist on a classic dessert that we'll be dreaming about for a long time. Everything—from the service to the beautifully presented platters—was nothing short of amazing. Gyromania is a gem, and absolutely worth the drive. We can’t wait to come back!

Update: For 1 the review about the food was posted months ago and yes the lamb chops when my husband got them were small and bland flavor wise. For 2 to call me a liar is very unprofessional for you as a business owner to incinuate a customer is a liar because they gave you a bad review. For 3 I did not threaten anyone I stated i would leave a review on how i was treated the second time I attempted to try your location and how bad the employee you have answering the phones was. If you read it I actually said I liked the steak kabobs and had an issue then with the phone order since I could barley hear the person taking my order! To keep getting put on hold and her laughing and having a conversation with another employee while taking my order is very rude and very unprofessional. So no I will not pull this down and since I already had a review instead of listing all of this I just changed it from 3 to 1 stars. Now you want to reply all aggressive to a review you didnt even know if it was me or someone else shows the lack of professionalism your establishment carries.

This review below was about 3 weeks after they opened the one above is from 10/15/2023 in response to the horrible customer service and reply from the owners son. Finally were able to try Gyromania Grill and have mixed emotions. When we called to place our order, we could barely hear the young lady and had to repeat our order 2 to 3 times. The food was ok, I enjoyed the steak kabobs, but my husband was very disappointed with the lamb chops. For 25 dollars, they were so small and had no flavor he ate 1 and threw the rest away. It is kinda on the expensive side. For the steak kabobs platter and lamb platter, it was over...

Update: We decided to give this place another shot today and was surprisingly let down.

We got the opportunity to try some of the menu items we couldn't the first time we came here and weren't really impressed. I was surprised to learn the wings they offer do not come sauced. Instead, they are plain with a sauce on the side... the fries are soggy with an odd taste from their choice of seasoning.

For our takeout portion, we were disappointed to see they didn't separate the side salad from the main hot dish. Instead, the salad was on the bottom of the container with the grilled chicken on top separated by some parchment paper. This arrangement left the salad soggy and unenjoyable.

The gyros we had were ok, still bland despite having the "spicy" spread. Overall, this place still fails to meet our expectations for quality Greek food with good flavor. The search continues.

Original Review: The food was ok. We were really excited for this place to open but may need to try it again later on after they have developed better team communication.

Some of the items we wanted were sold out but didn't learn this until after they started making our order. The cashier was even frustrated because the cooks did not communicate the shortage.

Portion sizes are a little small for the pricing, especially the hummus appetizer. I would like to see more options to add spice or flavor to the menu items since most of what we ordered was pretty bland.

For now, I think we will stick with restaurants with similar food items near Sandhills since they are better priced and offer more diverse...

I usually don’t try places when they first open, but my mom wanted to try it so I went. She got the Classic Philly Steak on Pita w/ Greek Fries and I got the Chicken Pita w/ Greek Fries. It was all ok, nothing to be excited about. The greek fries were meh, they were soggy and greasy with clumps of feta cheese and what tasted like oregano. The pitas were ok, they lacked flavor, the chicken was dry and the tzatziki sauce was bland. There were a lot of things that I saw that could be easily fixed. The order monitors that the cook staff uses needs to be brought down a little bit more, they seem to be to high. Also the person that is preparing orders needs to have some type of a screen in the front of them to look at and also be able to clear out orders once they have been completed. I say this because the kitchen staff seemed to be very confused and continued to make some of the same orders multiple times and no one was clearing the orders out once they were completed. I understand that sometimes orders may come out before others, but all of the orders were called out of order while other orders just sat there waiting on other parts of the order. They have a lot on their menu and by the other reviews it seems as though some people had good experiences. The staff however was very friendly and polite. I think that they will get better once they get into the swing of things. I may go back once the crowd has died down to give them...
