Read moreFinally decided to go check out Millie’s on Main this past spring. We’ve passed it a bunch and it’s so cute on the outside. We went on a Friday evening after work and the place has really good, chill vibes. When you first walk in, you have to pass by an ice cream station before getting to the bar. The atmosphere on the patio reminds me of old Austin neighborhood bars before Austin neighborhoods were so pricey. Family friendly staff with a great playscape for the kids to run around on while mom & dad listen to the band.
The cocktails are magnificent, and the bartenders are quite talented. Beer selection is nice as well, bottles and drafts. The smoked old fashioned with Blanton’s is an event of a cocktail. The bands are great, with lots of locals, for the perfect afternoon or weekend hangout.
