A diamond-in-the-ruff sits aside US17 in Elizabeth City, NC. It seems like something you've seen before, a Mexican dining truck with massive servings! Yet the culturally rich home-spun concoctions of this husband/wife are anything but ordinary & they'll have your mouth watering & your belly telling your feet to double time before your eyes can focus on the menu. Rest assured no matter your order(& I've ordered at least six dishes) you will be full for days. When your stomach is finally empty, your tastebuds will be dragging your backside back again & again & again!

The owner & his wife remember customers by name & order, yet it is NOT just about the transaction. They ask how you are, like how you're REALLY doing and they ask about your family they have met too! And they're not 'just being polite'. They'll stop what they are doing, or ask the assistant to take over, so they can give YOU their undivided attention. If you decide to wait in your vehicle while the food is being made, they bring it to you, hand it to you, & shake your hand. WITH A SMILE, I TELL YA!
