Bar 48 — Restaurant in Elizabeth Township

We used to be regulars here. We moved out of state, but came back to visit. We figured we would stop in and grab some dinner. We sat down at around 6:45 pm on Thurs 4/24/25. Didn't see a server until around 7:10. It was Burger night, so we knew what we wanted. Server is a young man (won't give his full name, but it starts with a D) not dressed in anything looking like he was a food server. He took our order, came back and gave us our drinks. Didn't see him again until 7:45. It seriously took the cook 35 minutes to fry two burgers and 2 orders of fries. "D" did not give us silverware, so my husband had to go and find some behind a partition near the kitchen door. "D" never came back to see how our meal was, offer refills, ask if we wanted dessert. If he depends on tips, here's one..."be a good server and buy a pair of pants". My husband left him a tip, I wouldn't have been as nice. On top of this, there was a loud mouth woman behind me that thought everyone in Elizabeth wanted to hear about how she wants to have kids, but needs to find herself a husband first, how she has a hole in her pool, 3 cats and a dog and a 100lb boyfriend. If you've got an hour or two/why not order one of their famous Pizzas (with their Ialtian Sausage & Pepperoni & mild hot pepper rings with extra cheese & extra sauce) and have them singe the crust! Went there on Wednesday which was "Wing night" . Ordered 6 wings and a burger. The menu said the wings were 80 cents each. When we got the check they charged us $1.25 each and said the price of wings went up. If that's the case they should inform their custumers of the fact before ordering them and they should cover the price on the menu. We'll never be going back there again.
