Was excited for the crawfish boil plate but disappointed.😢 Was completely dry. Had also ordered addt'l pound of crawfish (yes. I can eat a lot!!) And, oddly, those crawfish were juicier and waaay fresher. It was like the "plate" order was old. I've had crawfish IN New Orleans at Acme Oyster House-so I DO know how they SHOULD be. And these, sadly, weren't even close. Frog legs my friend got were also over cooked and cole slaw was "old", soggy-per him. Potatoes were killer on my plate though. I would've preferred to just buy live crawfish (fair price/lb) and cook myself next time. But it was my birthday "treat" and I wasn't cooking. Note: We went on a Thursday afternoon-to avoid "leftovers"/get REALLY fresh items. Thinking they might have been leftovers from Wednesday. Just my opinion. Neat, whole, frozen, baby gators(w their little heads still on/intact!) in freezer case.

This review was from 8/22/25 which was their first few days at this location so please take that into consideration. They still had most of the last locations signage up so there were people still coming in looking for BBQ. It was busy but not packed, the ordering process was very slow, they only had one person taking orders definitely a bottle neck. The food took a very long time to come out (I'm sure it was because they were getting used to the new location). My wife had the Mahi special but it was dry and fishy, not something I would expect from a business that is also a fish market. My crab was good and decently priced. We will give them another try an a few months to see if they have ironed out the growing pains of this new location.

I really like this place. You can pick up fresh fish to cook at home. You can get it to go or eat at the restaurant. Steph and I ate in; we were going to get two orders of the shrimp dinner but our hostess pointed out ordering by the pound and getting sides would be cheaper. Thank you guys for that one. Food was great, price was not as much as you would think for fresh market fish. The Lady taking care of us had good advice on our order and even brought us something to try for next time. So sorry I didn't get her name. All and all a very good experience. Great place to eat.

This place has the best coleslaw! I don’t like coleslaw. It’s always too sweet anywhere else I’ve tried it. On a whim, I tried the coleslaw at GCCSM. It has more of a Cajun taste and flavor and I loved it. When I asked Misty about the ingredients, she smiled and coyly replied, “Oh, we just put several different things in it.” I don’t blame you, Misty. I wouldn’t give away the family secret recipe either. My wife and I love the Trigger fish seafood plate. It’s lightly fried and comes with coleslaw, French fries, and hush puppies. It’s a full plate of food with enough left over to take home for a snack later. The new place has replaced picnic tables with dining tables and booths. There is also ample parking space. They have a wide variety of fresh seafood and the service is always friendly. You should really check it out. You won’t be...
