San Jose Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

This was my first and last visit to this place. The food was not all that great and the service was terrible. I have had better Mexican food at a fast food restaurant.

I was with a group of people and we were seated very quick. The waiter came and brought a basket of chips with salsa then took our drink orders. Our drinks came out quick but after that we did not see the waiter for a very long time. We have finished off the chips and all of our drinks were empty and no sign of our waiter, he still had not taken our food order yet. I almost got up and walked out and would have if I would have been by myself.

The waiter finally came by to take out food order, we asked for drink refills and another basket of chips and salsa. He brought the chips and salsa but not drink refills. We finished off the second basket of chip and still no drink refills. He finally refilled our drinks right before the food came out and we never saw him again until he brought our bill.

I had ordered a combo so that I could try several things from the menu. When I finally got my food, it was a disappointment. One of the items that I ordered was a enchilada, it was not good at all. When I took a bite of it, I thought I was at an Italian restaurant because it tasted like it was covered with...

I went in tonight it waa pretty busy the youmg man who was our waiter was very rude he didnt bring us any chips when we aaked he said there was no mild salsa so we ordered a cheese dip which was cold he never came to refill our drinks when our food finally came out it was ice cold i sent it back and all they did was throw a little bit of cheese on top of the cold meal and put it in the microwave we spent 70 dollars and didnt even eat when it was time to go we tried to talk to owner he said it dosent matter i took it off the bill while laughing which made me mad now im banned from going there that place used to be good but it ia getting sorry as hell and i have always gave them good business and the way they did me was wroung all i ask was too speak too the owner his name is fanando and they kept saying he busy all i got too say is don't serve somebody food that u would not not eat and and fanando would not let me explain what was going on the owner said hey i dont need ur business but after i left there i went down the road too El Patron and orderd the same meal and it came out hot and freash and it was good so be careful san jose will bring u cold food to the table and when say something about they will microwave ur food insted of makeing things right it turn in...

Came here given the 4.5 rating as my family and I were passing through. The food here is an absolute disappointment. I ordered chipotle enchilada and what comes has chicken inside. When I finally get the waiter's attention I'm told that the chipotle is the dressing on the top!? I couldn't believe it. Then it should be called Chipotle Chicken enchiladas not Chipotle Enchiladas. The sauce didn't have a Chipotle taste which was more akin to mayo with thousand island mixed in. The chicken was not hot more on the warm side venturing to cold. It was also very dry. Tried my partner's meal which has enough salt to almost make my heart stop. My son's steak burrito also seemed to be made with bad sauce. None of this food had distinctive Mexican flavors. Overall bad experience and I will definitely not come.back if I'm passing through again. I would recommend trying other Mexican food joints for those considering...
