Excellent country-style homemade food. If they have catfish on the Specials board, GET IT! The crust is perfect, well-seasoned, and the fish is moist. Not over-salted, so while the sweet tea is very refreshing, it isn't necessary. The steak fingers are very good, thin strips, but not tough or rubbery, they are tender, well peppered, and go great with the gravy. Their baked potato comes with butter by default, but it has sour cream on the side so if you're not a fan you don't have to add it if you don't want it. Traveling through Elk City, we found this barbecue place among the top recommendations around the area. We discovered for ourselves why it’s a local favorite. Both littles wanted cheese burgers, one with fries, and one with a side salad. Both were a hit and they enjoyed their choices. Mrs. Flip Out and I both tried the 2 meat combo. She chose the sausage and brisket with onion rings and green beans. I had the ribs and sausage with fries and baked beans. All of the meats were phenomenal: tender, juicy, and delicious.
