I quit going to this Dunkin' some time ago when I ordered a coffee with half and half and they asked me what half & half was. I didn't bother to finish my order, just pulled out of the drive-thru.
I have recently been back a couple of times this week and each experience was subpar at best. Both times, the person taking orders was less than pleasant, no total provided before pulling up to the window, no "thank you", nothing but "do you want anything else" & "pull forward". They open the window, take your payment, hand you your items, and walk away. I'm not sayin' one needs to be OVERLY friendly, but it would certainly kill this person to smile or offer any courtesy.
I can't speak to the atmosphere's cleanliness, but like that girls' soul, when I peeked in the window, it was also dead, so I am not sure why I sat in that drive-thru as long as I did, but that's honestly the least of my complaints. I don't prefer to complain about the inner workings of a place I have no experience in, but with the lack of a personable or considerate interaction, in conjunction with poor wait times and often inaccurate orders, it's hard to ignore.
I really wish this place would focus on training, attention to detail, and hospitality. It's sad to me that most Dunkin's are wonderful, but this one continues to be intermittently (for some time) dysfunctional. I'm not an expert, but this has been going on for years, leading me to believe that the issue is potentially managerial. Read moreMy husband and I had a very disappointing experience at this Dunkin’ location. We ordered a hot latte macchiato, and my husband clearly said “hot” several times. The employee kept repeating it back as “iced,” and despite my husband correcting him, they still prepared it iced.
When we got to the window, my husband asked again if it was hot, and the staff insisted he had ordered it iced—even though I was sitting right there and heard him repeat “hot” multiple times. A manager came over and told us they wouldn’t “waste product” and that we would need to buy another one if we wanted it hot. Thankfully, the same guy that took our order stepped in and offered to remake it correctly.
To make matters worse, as we were leaving, the manager told us to “explain our order right next time,” even though we had been very clear. That was unnecessary and unprofessional.
On top of all that, we also ordered the loaded chipotle hash browns and found a hair in it, which was extremely unappetizing and concerning.
Overall, this experience left us very disappointed with both the service and food quality. Mistakes happen, I myself too work with food service and I don’t leave bad reviews but how customers are treated and the cleanliness of the food served are...
Read moreMy wife has tried 3 times this week to order a latte and has left each time. The first time she stood in the lobby and waited 8 minutes to order and was never greeted. She was the only customer in the lobby. She had to be somewhere so she left before ordering. This morning she waited in line for over 20 minutes and again had to leave before getting served. I placed an order online for a box of coffee this morning a half hour before arriving and when I got there the door was locked and I had to call 3 times for someone to answer and let me in. When they did they Didn’t address me and about 5 minutes later someone asked me what I was there for. When I told them, they handed me a box that had clearly leaked inside and been sitting there for a while. They acted frustrated that I had to interrupt them from serving everyone in drive thru, which was backed up with about 7-8 cars. If you need a quick cup of coffee this is not the place to go. They’ve gotten orders wrong several times for us as well. Absolutely horrible service. They need new management or something. Overall a bad experience and we will not...
