Lousy food. Went in at closing and maybe that's why it was so bad. I ordered pineapple fried rice a favorite of mine, crab Rangoon, that looked nothing like they're supposed to. And the wonton wrapper was still RAW and like LEATHER, not crispy at all; also ordered dumplings which were so bland and the dip tasted watered down. The sauce was taken out of a fridge and placed directly onto my food. I watched the counter gal take a paper towel and dab them with that towel. I came in at 7:35pm. Ordered and came back in at 8pm to pick up as I was instructed. My order was ready at 8:11pm. I was presented with a paper sack, thanked and bid goodnight.
When I brought my food back, the 3 min to my hotel to eat, I was dismayed to find that I did not receive pineapple fried rice with chicken. I received regular fried rice that has a wierd taste and smelled bad, like it was old. I was also given like, orange chicken with sweet and sour sauce and canned pineapple chunks. Frankly none of it was appetizing and I ended tasting everything, but it was unedible and I threw it all away in the trash. I should have just burned the $36 spent on that food. It was horrible. I'm glad I'm not a local stuck with such a lousy Asian Cuisine Restaurant. As a side note, I've lived all over the world and eat Asian food ALL the time. This by far was the worst dining experience I've ever had with this type of food. I was so excited and ready to enjoy my food. It was so gross, I couldn't even eat anything else that night. I'm really glad I didn't get sick from it bc I was...
Read more3RD UPDATE: Woke up this morning not loving myself and feeling fat, feeling like I have nothing to wear and so on. LOL. You know how it is this time of year. Its chilly out, gaining winter weight like a squirrel an stuff. Anyway, food obviously cheers me up. And who cares if my rolls are a little more doughy right now. 🤷♀️😇 Cause this cashew chicken combo sure made me feel better. I'm happy again.
2ND UPDATE: (LATE MARCH OF 2022) After recently eating here, like three days in a row... lol... I've come to the conclusion that I've had a change of heart. The food quality was fresh each day and consistent. My review is now being bumped to five stars.
1ST UPDATE: (11 MONTHS LATER; MARCH 2022)
Since my first review, I've recently been back here twice. Food was good, and actually rather fresh this time. I was pleased with these last two visits so I'm now changing the one star to three stars, and uploading a photo of my most recent order.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: They gave me the wrong food... then kept transferring me to different people on the phone. They never resolved the issue. They literally didn't care. They acted like they didn't know what I was talking about... They eventually hung up the phone on me. Very...
Read moreI got carryout here before quite a while ago, and I remembered the food being pretty good. However, my husband and I recently decided to stop here and we were not happy with our meal. First of all, there were quite a few people waiting for food, but I was okay with that because I assumed that meant that when my food was done it would be handed to me fresh and hot. I was disappointed that the Hibachi Chicken I got was overly crunchy from overcooking, cold, and had VERY little sauce. I was honestly surprised that it was breaded at all, since every other restaurant I've tried this dish at has NOT had breading on the Hibachi chicken. It looked like overcooked popcorn chicken, and for the price we paid (I think it was around $16) I was really quite irritated. I ended up eating a piece or two, but it was just too tough to be edible. It was also tasteless (another disappointment because it was supposed to be spicy) and I ended up throwing it to the cats. My husband said his food was just "okay", which isn't really a good reason to go back again. There are cheaper chinese restaurants nearby that we have never had a bad meal at, and I think we will stick to those...
