Taqueria Tijuana — Restaurant in Elkhart

Their tacos are fantastic. Many restaurants use 1 soft corn shell because of rising prices. Tijuana, as they should, continue to use 2! Their Chimichanga - amazing. Each dish we try is better than the last. My go-to is carne asada and pastor tacos with cilantro and onion. I get 3 of each and regret not getting 4. Our kids love the quesadilla with rice and beans. I normally don't give reviews but this one I have to. I frequent this establishment often whether pick or delivery through door dash. I think they have the best tacos I've had in Elkhart they are the only place I come to for great steak tacos. Unfortunately on this order I found hair not just on my food but let's just say good thing I didn't swallow 🤬 I wish I could have added the picture. Food is more like a 5. The service can be poor. I’ve been three-four different times and have only gotten adequate service once. Last night a friend and I went. We waited fifteen minutes for our waitress and now when we order... we order EVERYTHING we would need. Because the usual is as soon as they drop off your food you won’t be seeing your waitress for the rest of your meal. Last night when we went to pay we waited for about seven minutes for the staff to come up to the register for us to pay.
