🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Manager Alyx Makes Elkins McDonald's the BEST! I am writing this review to give Manager Alyx at the Elkins, Arkansas McDonald's five stars—she is truly exceptional! As a customer who uses a walker, I often find simple trips challenging, but Alyx makes it an easy and heartwarming experience every single time. Her level of dedication and kindness is outstanding: • Proactive Care: She is immediately attentive when I arrive. Without fail, Alyx is right there to open the door for me and helps me get safely to my table. • Complete Service: She personally delivers my entire order—food, drink, napkins, and all the condiments—right to my seat. I never have to worry about carrying a tray while managing my walker. • Constant Attentiveness: She keeps an eye on her customers. If I ask for a drink refill, Alyx is incredibly quick to bring it over, saving me another trip to the counter. Alyx leads by example with incredible patience, kindness, and dedication. She is an absolute asset to the Elkins location, and her service makes a real, positive difference in the community....

I broke my long-standing policy of avoiding this McDonald's and will not be doing that again anytime soon. When I say the service was awful I want to be clear this was not an issue with any of the individual staff, who were very polite and did their best to be helpful. There just weren't enough of them. The drink machine has been removed (which makes sense bc it was often malfunctioning or a mess) and the ketchup dispenser was out, so in order to get a drink refill or more ketchup/salt/pepper you had to wait to be seen by a single staffer who was also handling drive-through orders. I had to wait ~5 minutes for her to deal with a customer who had evidently been cheated by the app, then got about 4 packs of ketchup for my trouble (this store has always been stingy with it, which I assume is a directive from above)

I know they cook down, but a quarter-pound patty sure doesn't look as big as it did 4 years ago. At least the fries came out...

Took almost 30 minutes to get two $5 bundles, even though we were the only people there and they didn't have a busy drive through. Staff wouldn't give us our drinks while we waited on our food, then they wouldnt give us refills and the drink station is not out (edited to add: the third employee we asked who was the runner for drive through gave us a refill). The nuggets were hot and fresh, but mine was supposed to be no onions (they forgot) and the sauces were wrong. The fries were old, hard, and cold. The burgers were cold with very hard buns. My husband's tea was supposed to be light ice and they put so much in it he could barely get the straw in. Don't recommend...
