This place is fine for a chain pizza joint in the modern world. But a part of me will always miss the old Pizza Hut from the 80s-90s, back in the day. The old one had a unique atmosphere, smelling like beer and movie popcorn; it had a cushion dungeon feel with pleasant stained wood and brass and a colorful carpet with red stain glass lamps; the unique drinking cups with the Coca-Cola logos; ferns everywhere and oblique lighting and unique arcade games; juke box; one of the workers inexplicably wearing roller skates.... It was an event, an experience to go to Pizza Hut. And there would be me standing proud with my Book-it slip and waiting on my free personal pan pizza because I had happily read another book, which I would have done for free.... This pizza hut just has the generic franchise feel, fountain corn syrup soda and bright lighting. Fake. Plastic. I could be in Wisconsin or Cleveland OH and they all look the same, charmless and sterile and cheap.

Read moreI called and placed an order for delivery, something I've done hundreds of times at the Elkins WV location, after asking if they could deliver to me as I always do. about a half hour later I get a call back telling me they can not deliver it to my address because its out of their jurisdiction. all they could do was cancel my order and I wouldn't see my refund for 2-3 business days. this was unacceptable for this is all the money I had at the moment, so asked if I could just come and pick it up, they came back around to they would have to refund me to charge me the correct amount without delivery charges. so again I'm left with no way to pay for the re-order so I'm stuck dealing with the delivery charge that they will not deliver and driving down myself after work with the delivery charge still racked. this place is a clown show. id take my business elsewhere, and they post their reviews on there wall so I hope this one...
Read moreToday I ordered online using the Pizza Hut app and I purchased breadsticks and I was going to pick it up. When I arrived at the store I told the cashier I wanted to use my points and she said that was done with the app. I explained it did not give me the option to use the points. So she went to get her manager Jason. I explained the same thing to him and he apologized and said he was unable to use them inside. Jason called Mike GM and told him of the issue. In the mean time I had already paid for the food. Jason returned the money and said that it was on him today.
