I have visited this Starbucks almost every workday, and most of the time the staff have been friendly and professional. However, this morning I had a disappointing experience.
I usually order a sweet cream cold brew with light cream. If too much cream is added, I politely ask for a little more cold brew to balance it out. At first, I didn't ask since I didn't want to seem picky, but eventually I realized I should, as I really don't enjoy too much cream. Every time I've asked in the past, the staff have always helped me without hesitation, which I found very professional. Over time, some of the staff even seemed to recognize my name and adjusted my drink accordingly. Because of that, I hadn't had this issue for over a month.
This morning, however, when I noticed there was too much cream again, I went to ask for a bit more cold brew. No one was at the bar, so I approached the cashier, who was working on the computer. I politely stated my request, but the staff member didn't even look at me or acknowledge me. I would have been fine waiting if he had simply said something like, "I'll be with you in a minute," but instead, he completely ignored me and continued working. I found this very unprofessional and disappointing.
I don't expect exceptional service at Starbucks, but being ignored without even a simple acknowledgment is unacceptable. Whether this person was a barista, manager, or in another role, ignoring a customer is never appropriate. A simple acknowledgment would have made a big difference.
Eventually, another staff member helped me and was very kind, which I truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't think I'll be returning to this location. Even if the staff member's behavior was unintentional, I believe better training is needed. I would prefer not to return if there is a chance of being ignored...

First time drink was made incorrectly, caramel macchiato missing caramel second time ordered a venti and saw grabbing a grande and had to redirect. I continue to try in hoping will change. Other than that I have tried multiple times placing an online order in advance which says will take 5-8 minutes, live about 10 minutes away, just to get there and subsequently wait an additional 15-20 minutes each time for two drinks (and possibly a croissant). The screen in there says your order is ready (not in progress) which is very misleading. I understand having worked retail people have assigned stations, but if your station isn’t busy or you’re not helping customers and just wiping your station and you see the person assigned mobile orders is struggling with a lot of orders, I would suggest the team help out with one another. But I decided to leave a review because today they went above and beyond- I placed a mobile order and when I got there- someone instantly greeted me and asked when I was waiting for. I said the name- and they didn’t have a ticket for me. I checked my phone and realized I picked the wrong location- since the other one I picked was pretty out of the way for me- I just asked them if I could order it now since I was there. Every single person there was so incredibly nice- and to top it off, they didn’t charge me to make the coffee even though it was my error. 10/10 service today and this is definitely my new go to...
