Updated 1-Star Review in 2022:
We visited this Arby's over the weekend as we were passing through town. Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. For starters, the inside security gate between Arby's and the attached convenience store was closed, making it so we had to walk around the outside of the building to access a small door by the drive thru. The lobby was packed with people waiting for food, and they had stacked chairs and other furniture up to prevent access to their dining area, saying it was closed. I get COVID and stuff, but it's mid 2022 and this is the first closed dining area I've seen in a long time. Based on the environment and all the disgusted looks on patron's faces who were waiting for food, we left. Never coming back. This place was never great, but this weekend was a horrible experience. Glad there are other options opening up nearby.
Original 2-Star Review from 2017:
My wife and I stop here almost monthly, due to the convenience of being the exact halfway point between our origination and destination. Honestly, if there were another food option as convenient as this, we probably wouldn't stop here as much.
I'm generally a fan of Arby's, but this location is almost always a disappointment. It seems to be poorly managed, as things are often made improperly, and they are frequently out of things. Specifically, on our last visit, they were completely out of Arby's sauce (among many other sauces and meats) and we noted at least two different groups come in that had gone through the drive through and were given ketchup packets in an attempt to pass them off as Arby's sauce, even though the staff knew they were out.
I can't say I fault the employees for always being out of stuff, as they take the brunt of it from upset customers (who really wants a dry roast beef sandwich without Arby's sauce? ), but it's definitely a frequent issue here, which you'd expect to be addressed quickly by management, but it hasn't been fixed in the 10 years or so we've been stopping here.
Also on our most recent visit, our fries were cold, we were given the wrong size fountain drink cup, and they clearly didn't clean out their shake machine between shakes because my jamocha shake had an overpowering "orange cream" flavor, their promotional shake at the time. (For the record, jamocha and orange cream do not mix well...)
If not for the convenience and location, this would easily be a 1 star review. This could be a fantastic location if they did some housecleaning in management, trained their employees adequately, and put in the effort to keep sauces and...
Read moreThis location is awful. We pulled through the drive through to order a few sliders. After a bit, people started to leave the line because it wasn’t moving AT ALL! We were staying very patient because we know things can get busy and hectic easily. After several more minutes, I went into the Dairy Queen and asked what was going on with the drive thru. They were busy goofing off. She said they were helping everyone in the lobby first. I looked behind me and there were three people who had already ordered food and two of them has their food in their hands. I told her several people had left the line and we had been waiting for quite a while. She ‘assured’ me she knew what was going on in the drive thru. I told her she needed to take care of the customers in the drive through and she said she didn’t care about the drive thru. I turned to leave and she said again that she wasn’t going to do anything with the drive thru. As I walked outside, the car that was sitting at the window asked what was going on. I said nothing was going on but the girl who I spoke with (a girl with black long hair) didn’t care about us waiting and wasn’t going to help. The lady said they were stuck because they had already taken their money.
So disappointing when people are in customer service jobs yet are clearly not in favor of good customer service. There wasn’t any reason for it to be taking so long, just ignorance and...
Read moreEdit: I returned here after 4 years to give another try and it took 45 minutes to get my food then it was the wrong food took it back to counter . Guy that ordered before me still didn’t have his food. Waited another 15 and finally asked for my money back. Just to be told that wasn’t possible because I didn’t give them a chance to make it right but im sorry 55 minutes from time I ordered and still no food. I just walked out. I will write a letter to corporate. By the way when I finally walked out they told the guy that ordered before me that the accidentally gave it to me and he would have to wait on some new food. He walked out as well. I guess we are the suckers they got our money and we got nothing in return except an hour wasted of my life. They were super busy by the way there was 4 other people in the whole store. I guess the giant crowd of 6 people overwhelmed them
Never been insulted as a truck driver as by these clowns. They are inside a truck stop but don’t open carry out til 1pm. They prohibit you walking through drive through then they tell you all specials on menu are only for drive through carryout pays full price. Perfect example of screwing truck drivers. I hope this place...
