Family owned, amazing community assistance, as theve always been, during covid they assisted nurses & hospital with free food. Quick response at counter, suggestions, size & portion info, they really go out of their way to ease fast service, coivid protocols. Veg & salads in prepped containers, instant cleaning after serving, willing to let you know of the quantity they have on hand or can provide very pleased with the upgraded amt. As we felt we inconvenienced them to bag our order as it was very large. They were like every order is normal with the same care little or massive. ZERO. What would have been my first transaction with them went thusly: I first called at 18:38 hours, requested some information. Great. I was super excited that I wouldn't have to venture out in the head today. It's a SCORCHER out there. But I'm hungry, so I thought, why not give them a shot? They're only three blocks away. Anyway, I got the information, and told the lady that I'd call back in a couple of minutes with an order. Yes, I know it was close to closing time, but I don't live far. Not typically one to leave reviews but felt this warranted it. Ordered on door dash. A simple sandwich. Meatballs and some veggies and sauces and a couple drinks. The store didn't have the bottled drinks, whatever, it happens. They also chose to send me the worst sandwich I've ever tasted. Literally just burnt, unsauced meatballs on bread (order extra meat and they were equally burnt and dry in a container on the side).
