Peking Express Chinese — Restaurant in Emporia

I ordered 2 dinners and both come with either fried rice or steamed rice,I decided on steamed..did didn't get any..I ordered extra soy sauce and specifically said I WILL pay extra for it weel I didn't get it I paid extra for the sweet and sour sauce,it was watered down and tasted like fish sauce,I spent 25 dls on garbage, the chicken was like jerky it's definitely not fresh!!! this place needs to be shut down!!! I was actually contacted by the manager about the problem with my order.. she told me she would make it right and to remove the one star and give her better stars,she told me to place another order and she would give me 2 free egg rolls,all for free!! Holy mackerel, Batman! This place is amazing! Ordered my food online for pickup, and they already had it waiting, piping hot and fresh and wrapped together so neatly when I walked in to pick it up. My husband and I are originally from another state where we have a plethora of different restaurants to choose from. Kansas doesn't really seem to have the options we're used to, so when I found this place, my husband decided to give it a try. And we were not disappointed! Open on Sunday when many family restaurants in Emporia weren't. Nice medium sized restaurant, mom and pop owned and operated from what I could tell. Waitress was very attentive and nice, and the female owner was very friendly, came up to me and had some conversation. Restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. Food was not bad, had a nice home cooked feel to it, but the ingredients used impressed me.
