This is probably the best buffet in the Enid area. Restaurant is always clean and has great decor and lighting. Staff are very friendly and attentive; I see them refilling the buffet trays often. Whenever I go it is around dinner time and food is rotating quickly, so the vast majority of what I get is nice and hot (or cold if it is supposed to be and had been sitting on ice). The variety here is also great. I got to try frog legs for the first time and while I will say I probably won't have them again, I absolutely appreciate getting the chance to experiment with new foods. They also do takeout here for a reasonable price, so you can come here after a long day of work and fill a to go box up with your favorite chinese-american guilty favorites (complete with an ice cream cup of course). If I had to recommend any of the dishes here I'd say it's the jalapeño shrimp, the prawns, and the sesame balls for dessert. I haven't tried the hibachi yet, but I can say that the sushi is also quite good, good variety, the chef is preparing them constantly and they put protective plastic wrap over the fresh pieces so they aren't just sitting out in the open. Overall I'd say I'd recommend but definitely stop by during the popular meal hours to get the food while...
Read moreSo, went here today for an early dinner before walking into a grocery store. I grabbed several types of sushi with my other items. Everything tasted fine until I got to the sushi. I thought maybe it was just that one so I took a bite of another and they were both sour. So I tried another type of sushi and it was sour. I ate a topping from another and it was fine. So it was the rice that was sour. I tried to tell the server but she didn't speak any English. She comes back with another lady that spoke very little English. I told her the Rice was sour and she told me that it was supposed to be like that. Now, I know gaslighting when I hear it and that was definitely gaslighting. I eat a lot of sushi in a lot of different places and never had I eaten sour rice sushi. So watch out for them taking short cuts and putting food safety to the test. Because they don't feel they are doing anything...
Read moreThis is kind of a weird one for me. The buffet is not as large as say the restaurant at Oakwood Mall but they had a great selection.
The food was as expected from a Chinese buffet. (The sushi was TINY though). The taste of the food was really good. The service was good and friendly and the atmosphere while nothing special was ok.
The weird part though is that the one and only time I've eaten there I had the worst food poisoning I've ever had.
When my family is considering places to eat in town I always bring this place up as an option because I'd like to give them a second chance. The dinner I had there was good. However, my wife and kids will never return because of how ill I was after eating there. I'll continue to sway the family on trying again.
