This little restaurant truly is In my don't return section. I've eaten many places, and done a great few good reviews but this restaurant truly upset me. If you want details continue reading. I went in Hungry for a quick bite and some coworkers said I should try this little place to see what I thought and let them know. I entered, checked out the menu, trying to find something I enjoy. The girl who was my cashier didn't do anything wrong, simply greated me as I was looking, though I did ask a recommendation and she went to the back and I thought she was gonna find something, though she came back for my order but never recommended anything, but I had found a menu item already so it's alright. I got my item and sat to eat. It was shrimp, rice, and a whole bunch of veggies. Now usually I would enjoy everything that was in my container. The rice was definitely just steamed, but tasteless ( I know rice isn't always tasty but I enjoy some favor) it just wasn't cooked right like other plsce I have enjoyed nor was the shrimp. Bland, tasteless. And for 9 bucks I was hoping it to be a bit more. It was mainly veggies and rice with about 6 pieces of shrimp. I wasn't very satisfied, so I thought I'd ask what I could do about trying a different meal with something a bit more simple, may be some chicken and I'd pay for it. I was willing to pay for another meal take note due to my inability to finish something bland and tasteless to me. The girl goes to the back and fetches the cook, and he is definitely irritated. The girl had to be his translator and I doubt he was speaking nicely, the girl was trying to choose his words politly. Even though she was being polite I didn't truly enjoy his attitude. Recap, the girl was trying to be nice, the cook who ran it was not, the food was bland and tasteless. There has only been one other time where I experienced horrible service like this and that was also at a small Asian all you can eat restaurant that was in across from Jackson's On the other side on the street. A Hispanic cuisine restaurant now occupies the space that I have yet to try. Definitly deserving of my 1...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. We just had the worst experience possible here. Having ordered their House Special Egg Foo Young on several occasions before, I know what it is supposed to be. Tonight what we took home was not the same dish, there was nothing in it but a few tiny bits of dried up pork, no shrimp, no chicken, nothing else, poorly prepared at that - and the fried rice was under cooked. So we promptly returned it, uneaten, and requested either a refund or the House Special that we paid for. Not only did they refuse, they poked through it an pointed out a few tiny bits of pork, insisting it was the House Special, no explanation about what happened to the rest of the missing ingredients and refused any compensation saying that if they did it for us they'd have to do it for everyone else - well really, isn't that what you're supposed to do when you get an order wrong. Fix it - notwithstanding that one of us went without any dinner and were inconvenienced to have to drive back to return it. We will never go in this place again and I would never recommend it to anyone. Clearly honesty in service is not something that matters to them, This behavior is a character indicator, who knows what else...
Read moreThis place is hands down the best Chinese I’ve has since moving here from the west coast! I don’t understand the complaints especially about the wait. Good food takes time, especially when they make it fresh in front of you! I mean come on people! I was in here the other night and over heard two elderly couple giving the girl a hard time because they wait a long time. Well, what do you expect when they are busy. When literally everyone in town in getting Chinese during dinner time?! Not only was that ridiculous but they also said, I quote, “ your going to lose business if you so busy. You need to get more workers.” One, this is a family business. We don’t need another good Chinese place becoming a MEXINESE (Chinese owners but Mexican workers). Two, I think most people would rather wait then get food poisoned. If your looking for a good Chinese place to eat, this is the place. Sweet family, great food, wait is long but when it’s good food then it’s worth the wait (even if it is an hour). I recommend calling ahead as they do a lot of call in orders. Call the place, place the order, do something while it’s being made. It’s that simple. Hands down the best I’ve had in...
