Just came back from a work luncheon that had a total of 19 people in attendance and I am so disappointed in the behavior of the owner.
The first meal I ordered was the chicken parmesan and when they brought it out, it was covered in a red sauce and I knew I would not be able to eat it. I could not eat it because it was made with marinara sauce and I am allergic to tomatoes. She later came back with a meal that had shrimp in it which I am also allergic and before I could say anything, my co-workers spoke on my behalf. The waitress was very professional and nice and wanted to figure out how to get me something to eat. They made me a meal that I could eat and the luncheon went on.
We all started to pay for our meals and the waitress apologized to me several times and said that the owner wanted me to pay for both meals and if I had any questions the owner would talk to me.
I ask her to go get the manager. The manager comes out and says that she prepared the meal and I have to pay for it. She said I can take the meal with me and I said why would I take the meal when I am allergic to it. She also began to tell me that I had placed another order and that was not true and again a coworker spoke on my behalf. She said I can give the original order to someone. She was very aggressive and I reiterated that I would not have ordered a meal that I could not eat intentionally.
One of my co-workers asked why wasn't I told at the time of the first meal that I would have to pay for the meal even though I could not eat it. So one of my coworkers ask why wasn't she told at the time she would be required to pay for the meal? Another one of my coworkers stepped in and said that he would pay for the meal the the owner decided to box up and give me that I could not eat.
I am so amazed at the owners behavior. The fact that she boxed up the meal that I could not eat for me to take with me was was a lack of better judgement. I most definitely will not be going back or recommending this place...

The new and improved food and beverage program at the Barrel Room is impressive and the quality of the various main entrees are some of the best in our Wiregrass area. Couple the tasty food with excellent customer service, and this food establishment provides our community with a fantastic “Go To Restaurant” option in Enterprise.
Our favorites food dishes so far have been the Mussels as an appetizer, the Classic Caesar Salad and the main courses has been a toss up between the Mushroom Risotto with grilled chicken and the Grilled Beef Medallions. The tiramisu for dessert was a delicious compliment to a wonderful dining experience.
Aside from the great food, for us the customer service is what draws us to return. This past weekend we had the pleasure of having Kayla as our server and she was very professional and very passionate about the Barrel Room and did an awesome job of explaining the various menu choices and gave us several great food recommendations. She truly knows how to make you feel welcome, very knowledgable about the drink menu and was very attentive to us the entire evening. Very personable and engaging. Kayla made everyone at our table feel like we were the most special diners there that evening. When we return, we will definitely be sure to request her to look after us.
Thank you Team Barrel Room for a...
Read moreCaroline was our server. She was great. We visited Troy University and stayed in Enterprise. We were blessed to find this lovely eatery. The inside was quaint but well done. The patio was spacious and completely full of people today... listening to a little live music, which was great. We were seated inside.
My daughter had the French toast, and it was amazing. The portion was really small, so we weren't able to share. The bourbon whipped cream was awesome!! I had the pork belly BLT. However, I was informed they were no longer serving pork belly and were just doing thick-cut bacon. That was fine. The sandwich was served on a ciabatta roll. Super tasty. I would have preferred my bacon to be a little more crispy, but I still managed to eat every bite! The only thing I would change would be to offer a small side salad or fresh fries instead of a bag of chips. But the chips were very good and it didn't take away from my experience, I just like having more options. My daughter had the Shirley Ginger drink, and it was very good. I had the house coffee, and it was good. They have a full bar, as well. I would highly recommend it. If we are ever in the area again, I will definitely...
