Let me start this review by stating this was one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants in WA. Keyword is was. My wife and I have eaten here many times in the past and have always had a great experience, until our last visit a few weeks ago. Started out fine, we went in (were the only ones there as it was mid-week and around 5pm...) sat and ordered drinks. Waitress was very friendly, took our order, got us chips & salsa, etc. She didn't write our order down because I'm sure she has the menu memorized... When my order came, she brought me Enchiladas but I had ordered Chimichanga's... I told her that's not what I ordered, she said yes it is... I am 95% sure I ordered Chimichanga's as I never order anything other that that when dining out at a Mexican restaurant. She said she would fix it and have the cook make me Chimichanga's and that was that, or so I thought. A few minutes later the waitress returned and basically said I indeed ordered 'Enchiladas not Chimichangas' to which I said I am pretty sure I didn't, and I explained how I never order Enchiladas, etc... From then on our service went to shit. The waitress no longer waited on us, someone else brought the Chimi's to me when they were ready then quickly walked away. I noticed there were nothing on the Chimichangas (no guacamole or sour cream or salsa... nothing) which made the shredded chicken quite dry. It took a while to flag someone down (even though there now was only a few customers), I asked if I could get some guacamole since there was nothing on it, she brought me some and left. We finished up our meal and got the bill, which to my surprise we were charged $5 for the guacamole, so I took $5 back from the tip (I was still tipping 20%, reducing it down to ~15%) and we left.

It was really sad how we were treated by that waitress, it is too bad too because we really liked this place. However, I more than likely will never go...

My son is Autistic and very food adverse. It's difficult to get him to eat anything. But, he ate almost the full adult plate of mouth watering seafood enchiladas by himself and kept taking bites of my Enchilada Picadillo!! He loves the Jamaica drink. And the staff treats him so well and practices Spanish with him. On my birthday he got up with them and sang Happy Birthday to me with them! Their Peach Margaritas are the best I've ever had anywhere. My one critique is that their Enchilada portion sizes are small. Thus, the 4 stars. If they were increased; then this would be the best Mexican restaurant flavor, atmosphere, and service...

Five stars aren't enough. We got a dinner for two and I have rarely had food so good. The cook is a genius.

Now some general impressions: The dining room is on the small side, though not tiny. It still felt reasonably roomy as it wasn't overcrowded with tables. There is a TV that I think they show games on, and they play the usual sort of music you hear at Mexican restaurants. It was noticeable and not quiet, but not too loud to have a conversation.

This place is a bit spender than a lot of Mexican restaurants and the drinks are expensive. But with the food you get more than your money's worth.

Tl;dr: highly...

The spices, the portion size, is always a 10/10. The Mexican trio- The quality, the quantity, is always 10/10 consistently better than any other Mexican restaurants in eastern Washington that we have tried. It is always good. And the margaritas are the best. More lime, more tequila, just the best. We drive to Ephrata, Wa, and are never disappointed. Next time I’ll take a photo!

One of the two best Mexican restaurants in Ephrata. Staff is friendly, food is absolutely delicious and prices are affordable. I do dine-in here and also take out when I am feeling lazy and just want to eat at home. They usually prepare your order in about 20 minutes. My favorite items to order from here are street tacos and Chicken Asada.
