I have only visited the Ephrata Taco Bell once, so my review is in light of that one visit. A friend and I chose this restaurant for lunch on a Friday at noon. The restaurant was not crowded at all but there were a few cars being attended in the drive thru. After waiting at the register for while, an employee directed us to the self order kiosk as an alternative to further waiting. I have never used the kiosk before but was able to locate what I wanted after a brief search. My friend had difficulty finding what she wanted though, so an employee very graciously assisted her. We received our orders in a timely manner and the food was hot and well prepared. The over all ambiance of the restaurant was clean and modern. There were some crumbs on one of the tables but the floor and chairs were free of debris. We found a corner seat and enjoyed watching the mundane street traffic as we chatted and ate. A few more patrons arrived during our lunch but the restaurant was never crowded and I noticed that they were attended at the register in a timely manner. In all, my visit to the Ephrata Taco Bell was not unpleasant and while it was not outstanding, I give it four stars as an adequately enjoyable...
Read moreI went through the Ephrata drive-through today, and I ordered one of the chalupas with the chicken for shell (can’t remember what it was called, and they didn’t give me a receipt). The price on the menu was $3.39, the price that came up on the screen was $3.99. When I questioned it she told me that the price on the menu did not include tax, it took me 3 times of telling her the $3.99 on the screen doesn’t include tax either, before she realized I wasn’t gonna give up. She told me to pull forward, and then ever so rudely told me I was the first one to ever catch that, and that she was giving it to me for the price that was on the menu. It’s only a $.60 difference, but it felt like a scam to me, especially when the gal was rude about it. I might add this Chalupa is tiny compared to the regular Chalupa’s, so even at $3.39 it was a rip off and I wouldn’t...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at this location yesterday. I went through the drive through because the lobby is closed due to the whole COVID-19 situation. They forgot three burritos that I ordered for my daughter. I knocked on the front door and spoke to a girl who told me to go back through the drive through. I said that I had already paid for the burritos which means they were already made, so she should just bring me my burritos. She again instructed me to go through the drive through. I told her that I didn't have time to wait an additional twenty minutes in line when she could just bring me the food to the door. She acted like she was going to bring me my burritos, but never did. Her and the other workers just looked at me through the glass while they continued serving other customers. So I drove away and will...
