The food is gross- In my opinion erie doesn’t have alot of options for a breakfast joint so people flock here out of lack of Options not because it’s good. The veggie omelet is just frozen peppers and canned mushrooms (the canned mushrooms are a disgusting mix of weird mushrooms not typically served on omelets) The pancakes are just water added to a mix (the owner told me this much) The atmosphere is bizarre- the tables with lights are very harsh blue lights that literally flicker- it’s daylight and they have lots of windows soo why? The decor and color choices don’t feel like a nice start to your day it’s just uninviting and a poor choice of color, style or lack of. *Save yourself the disappointment and head over to Lawrence park dinkr- it’s small but the food is mighty delicious! * Honestly you will get a better breakfast at Golden Corral Atleast the omelets are cooked with fresh veggies right in front of you. Read moreWith several visits, I’ve tried both their scrambled eggs and omelette. There is no “fluff” to either. Very paper thin and very bland tasting for both egg orders. The portion size for the scrambled eggs was also extremely small. The home fries are not fresh cut but resemble frozen and cooked. The hash browns were cooked to be more crunchy with hardly any soft potato. The pancakes had an odd flavor that made them too sweet to enjoy. The bacon wasn’t cooked enough and was very chewy. Coffee cups are small and refills were few. The place could use a good thorough cleaning and definitely needs a refresh on the interior. It’s gloomy and very dated with the dark interior. On one visit we were seated near the bathroom against the wall and that was highly disappointing. There is no separation from this hallway/bathroom area and the dining area. The area is high traffic and cramped. A bit of separation or a wall is highly...
Read moreWish I could tell you how the food was, however the waitess was very disinterested in serving my son and I. The hostess was kind enough to get us drinks while we watched the waitess tend to 3 other tables at after us. After sitting for about 20 minutes she did greet us and take our order (a quick hotcakes and eggs) we waited another 40 minutes before finally walking to speak with a manager. Not that it made a difference to speak with him. No apologies from the the waitess and the manager appeared to be annoyed that I was waiting his time. No problem, we'll leave.
