El Ocho Loco in Erlanger, Kentucky, is an absolute treasure trove of Mexican culinary delights. Let's start with the tacos - they're simply sensational. Whether you're craving the succulent carnitas, the flavorful carne asada, or the perfectly seared tacos de lingua, each bite is a journey to flavor paradise.
But wait, there's more! The choripollo is a true standout, offering a delicious fusion of flavors that's well worth savoring. Plus, the generous portions mean you can enjoy it as a taco, nachos, or on its own, making it a meal that keeps on giving.
Now, let's talk about the owner - tremendously friendly doesn't even begin to describe it. Their passion for food and hospitality shines through in every aspect of the dining experience, adding an extra layer of warmth to an already inviting atmosphere.
Speaking of atmosphere, El Ocho Loco delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a place specializing in street tacos. It's vibrant, lively, and authentically Mexican, transporting you to the bustling streets of a bustling taco stand.
In short, El Ocho Loco is a true diamond in Erlanger, and my go-to spot for Mexican food in the area. With fantastic food, friendly service, and an ambiance that hits all the right notes, you simply can't go wrong. Prepare your taste buds for a fiesta of flavor - you won't be...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since opening. Food is great. Sometimes our Togo’s are messed up, we bring them back and they get fixed no problem. It happens. We understand that. Tonight we place our order an hour before close because we didn’t wanna be last minute customers and keep the kitchen late. We waited 35 min, showed up to get our food and it wasent even started. Ok ya got busy no problem. We will wait because the food is good. The whole point of ordering ahead is for it to be ready but whatever. We live two blocks away off edwards road. When we got home our food looked absolutely terrible. And mind you the two blocks of 20mph tops will not do this to a burrito. My car would of have to rolled in an accident to get this effect. All of our items were squished in 2 bags making the tops of the items below open and juices to go everywhere. Refried beans smooshed all over. We called to see if we could get atleast our kids burritos remade and the fajitas because they were in the bottom of the bag and got all the residual food juices from the items above. They basically said too bad we should have driven better. After waiting they extra time for the food not being ready and then for it to come like this with that attitude...
Read moreI decided to give this place a shot because it seemed more authentic than most restaurants. I arrived and they were very busy. The place smelled great. The gentleman in front of me was lucky enough to place his order before me. The man behind the counter then proceeded to answer 2 calls and put 2 more orders in before my potential meal. He then took a couple of meals out to the dining area. He only acknowledged me when I was in his was of getting napkins for the other guests. He went behind the counter and then proceeded to call out take out orders that had been sitting there before I arrived. He even answered another call. Even the Grubhub guy behind me was getting annoyed. He then went back out to take an order for a table that was there before I got there. I get that they were there before me but the guy still hadn't said anything to me. I said the hell with it at this point.... I get they were short handed and busy but it was the total lack of courtesy to acknowledge my existence. I decided to call in an order to la Torta and had a ridiculously great sandwich that was ridiculously big. I recommend la...
