As a lifelong satisfied customer, it truly pains me to say that this place has completely fallen off. Ever since Jimmy left and sold the business, God bless him, the steak tips are literally not even the same as they use to be. Same with the chicken. Looks like reheated chicken and both don’t taste fresh off the grill. Jimmy and the old staff made Cape Ann what is was, in all of its greatness. If you are looking for a good old fashioned Cape Ann style meal, do not even bother going to Cape Ann Pizza now. I gave it 2 tries and they were hands down the worst subs I’ve ever had.

I like this place, it's a standard sub shop/roast beef place. The first time I came I got a steak bomb because I think it's a great dish to evaluate a new place with. It wasn't bad, but it was chopped way to finely. I'm not sure why some places do this, but its a huge turn off. Based on that I wouldn't have been eager to back there, but it's really close to us so I tried again. I got one of their specialty wraps, and it was really good. The service is so-so, they usually seem a bit harried and orders take a little longer than they usually say it will. I'd recommend this place if you want a sub or sandwich. I love there chicken kabob calzone best around. I eat there at least once a week and sometimes twice. all the workers there have always been very nice. And i must say the owner is a nice guy. I am a regular there but one time i forgot my coupon for my order it was only a 5 dollar discount even though i didn't have it i explainded to the owner that i had forgot it and he gave me the money off anyway alot of places wouldn't do that.
