For reference this is usually the only subway I go to. Theyāre fast and make great subs. Also, I understand customer service can be difficult as I work customer service myself.
Today was kind of a one off experience but left a bit of a sour taste. My husband and I went in about 6:45 today and started ordering a wrap each. There was a blonde woman (took our order) and another gentlemen behind the counter. We started ordering and got to vegetables and my husband was listing them off as usual but I noticed a fly had just landed on his wrap and hopped over to the meat, and from my point of view it looked as if she had just plopped the lettuce on top of the fly and then started sprinkling olives on after. I told her as quickly as I could force the words out and she stood in disbelief for a moment. I told her āIām sorry but Iām so serious, it was under the lettuce Iām not joking, I didnāt see if fly off please lookā she claimed it was the olives but again I told her āit was under the lettuce, I swear Iām not jokingā. Instantly I could tell this frustrated her and she started to pick at the lettuce and olives and stating there was no fly on the sandwich at all, my husband is a bit squeamish so he asked her if she would please make a new one because well, who wants a fly in their wrap. This visibly upset her as she picked up the wrap and slammed it into the trash, sighing very loudly. I felt bad she had to restart it but I donāt think it really warranted that reaction, we werenāt asking for a free one. My husband wanted to leave after that but I made him stay so we could continue with our order since mine was already half finished, but it just didnāt feel very nice. I will say by the end of the transaction her demeanor was a bit more neutral and she told us to have a good rest of our day. I wish she could have looked at the camera and saw what I had seen. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered 2 sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks online. I get that you grab the bottle drinks and chips yourself, but the person picking it up didn't know that. However, they didn't give us the 6 cookies we ordered, or a cup for the fountain drink (not things you can grab yourself). The person who picked up the order asked if we got the cookies and then they asked what we wanted and made him order cookies and pay for them (again). Then, the sandwiches were wrong. No cucumber when it was ordered, paid extra for sliced avocado and they put guacamole instead, and seemingly no oil and vinegar or salt and pepper (both were ordered). Also paid for extra cheese and they put the normal amount (one layer, 3-4 pieces of cheese total for a footlong) Then, someone went back down to grab the missing cookies we paid for, chips, and drinks. They were told none of that was on the order but gave it to us anyway (even though we literally had the order confirmation through email saying everything we ordered above and that it was all paid for). Would not recommend atleast for online orders. In person it's hard to mess up a sandwich in front of you but it seems they don't really pay attention what online order...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Estacada Subway is utterly disgusting. After 4 times of going in and seeing the same scenarios, I thought I'd finally leave a review in hopes of these issues getting fixed. The employees are dirty, their clothes are caked in filth and they either lean their bodies into your sandwiches when reaching for items or continuously touch their hats, shirts, glasses, ears etc. It's disgusting. Today a girl in dirty skimpy street clothes was hanging out in the back. Walking from the back to the front with her hand down her pants. Was she a manager? She looked like she hadn't showered in weeks. Was she touching food in the back? Who knows. Filthy. They also don't acknowledge when you walk in, you can stand in front of the staff for 10 minutes or more before you're acknowledged. I was even the only customer in the building. I always feel so gross eating the food after I see who's preparing it in the back vs who's touching what when it's put together. I hope someone sees this and has it fixed. I can't be the only person seeing how filthy and disgusting the Estacada store is. I'd rather travel to Sandy or Gresham than go there a 5th time and gamble with food...
