Do yourself a favor and drive a couple minutes further to the location on Hill rd in Pickerington!! This is the 3rd time I have come to this location and as soon as you walk in you are greeted with “We are out of X, Y, and Z” and proceed to list the most basic items. Tonight we came in at 8:45pm, were told they were out of BOWLS and stood there waiting while one employee showed another how to clean/pre-close the tortilla press and then wrapped the machine in tin foil so they did not have to clean it again when closing…closing time is 11pm. Then we are told they are also out of guacamole, corn, and tomatoes. I asked if the manager has an issue ordering the correct amount of inventory because specifically this location is always out of half the ingredients. The response was “oh it’s because we only prep in the mornings.” Go to checkout and surprise, out of chips even though you can clearly see chips. But “that is only for people who place online orders” so I said okay so if I pull out my phone and place the order online I can have them? And he said uhhh yeah and so I did. Sat in the extreme corner of the dining area bc I was on lunch break from work and all the other tables were filthy. Then watched as about 20 different guests were greeted with the same laundry list of ingredients they are out of and subsequently left. Then they started putting all the chairs on top of the tables at 9:15pm and changing all the trash, making sure they cover up all the trash can openings so no one can use them, disrupting their close in uh 2 hours…..This location is in desperate need of new management and retraining for their employees, to send that many customers straight out the door. Doesn’t matter if 2 employees are working or 12, they will still be out of at least 50% of their main ingredients, provide slow service, and do nothing but close down while...
Read moreWow… after reading a little over 40 reviews, I can’t see how they’re even currently above a 3.0 with less than 10% having 4 or 5 stars? But, it did confirm my experience tonight. We used “the app” and the drive through put a single order bowl labeled “Abby” into a bag labeled “Pam” (marked with 3 items). Oh wait, they were out of chips so they didn’t bother to put the queso dip in either. When we drove back through a second time to get it corrected, they said they couldn’t take food back. But I only brought so they could see their obvious mistake. After a couple of minutes of trying to negotiate throwing it away for me, the window went closed and another employee got enveloped. This employee opened the window and asked if I had opened the bowl, I advised no, so he gave it to me to check the contents (as if the label was just wrong and not the order)? No, still wrong but again they wouldn’t take it back through the window. Now I’m sitting in the drive with an opened bowl… I told him I wasn’t going to drive like that and asked a 3rd time to just throw it away! Handing it back, he caught my drop… (good catch)!! The bottom line was 25 minutes for a 3 minute drive and pickup, they remade the bowl and gave us a small ketchup size container of queso. No refunds with the app so we had to report an error on line in the app again. But the real kicker was no apology from either employee or either worker in the drive through owning up to the error. This makes me, “the customer” feeling like the bad guy trying to get a simple error resolved. I’m done!!!!!
First post about two years ago… Second chance over the weekend, hasn’t gotten any better. App order and pickup at the drive through. Young girl at the window just looks at you and doesn’t speak before or after pickup. Orders are very skimpy!! No value with food or...
Read moreI'm so disappointed in the owner and management of this Chipotle location I have to leave a review. Every time I visit this location, all I see is 1-2 overworked young people who are trying to hold a severely understaffed restaurant on their shoulders and serve people the best they can. No management or a responsible adult to be seen to help. Especially not during the busiest time of the day. My last visit was no different. I was 4th in line, while waiting, 6 more parties arrived. One young man was trying to cover both of the serving areas, the cash register, and trying to refill utensils and napkins. One young lady doing her best to cover the food prep station, barely able to keep up with the need during rush hour. Both looking exhausted, overworked, and frustrated. No one is there to relieve them for breaks, help clean service areas, or refill utensils. For people critical of the service and food, have you seen how hard these kids are working to serve the masses without any help? When would they have time to clean, organize, or take a quick break? My question to the adults responsible for the operation of this location, is there a plan to help these hardworking, caring young people so they can actually do a good job? What are the chances that these 2 people working tonight will stay long if they are consistently set up to fail? I'd suspect, once a system is put in place to give them the help, support, and resources they need, all other issues mentioned in recent 1 star reviews will start improving. Based on what I see, the restaurant has no shortage of patrons, so, if managed appropriately, should have the resources to hire more workers. It is really not fair to blame the workers when they are set up to fail. Only my...
